Jennifer Lawrence: On Not Sleeping With Bradley Cooper And Being a Dior Diva

Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence seem to be made for one another; well, onscreen that is. The two stars, who are both Oscar contenders for yet another season, have now been paired up in a total of four films over the course of only a couple of years. Joy marks their fourth movie together after American Hustle, Silver Linings Playbook, and Serena.

Seeing as Lawrence and Cooper seem to be inseparable on the silver screen, many have inquired as to whether or not any romantic feelings have arisen between the costars. Cooper has fielded questions on speculations in the past, after media members noted the vast age difference between Lawrence and Cooper when they began working together. Jen was merely 22 and Brad was 38. Cooper responded to questions about the working couple, appropriately stating, “I could be her father,” to Us Weekly back in 2013. However, fans remember that Cooper dated Suki Waterhouse who is 17 years his junior.

Once again, Cooper was put in the hot seat in regard to a possible hook up between JLaw and himself. This time, it was Howard Stern who inquired as to whether anything has ever gone on between the two. Cooper candidly replied and recalled an early exchange between the two at an awards show, which may have been misinterpreted and seemed “creepy.” Vanity Fair relays the star’s words.

“It just didn’t happen. It’s not the way we are together. [Jennifer] is very attractive. We had an awkward exchange at the MTV Movie Awards when we didn’t know each other… All that stuff of her getting called and me saying no, no, no—that really happened. I thought I was getting a little creepy because I was making her stay.”

All that awkwardness aside, Cooper adamantly replied that he will “never sleep” with JLaw.

Lawrence is certainly going full steam ahead with everything regarding her career and Hollywood leading lady status. As the beauty climbs the ladder of success to the top rung of notable and talented beauties in the industry, she seems to kick her style up a notch with each rung reached.

The stylish beauty landed her first campaign for Dior Fashion House back in 2012 and has remained a Dior-wearer ever since. As The Cut recalled recently, JLaw is rarely seen at an awards event without a Dior gown on. In the span of one month, during the time that Hunger Games: Catching Fire was being promoted, the actress arrived at a total of six separate events in six separate Dior pieces. The publication noted the reason that Lawrence has been forever adorned in Dior.

“2012 was the same year Simons took over the French house, and as her red-carpet appearances increased, he hooked her up with a steady stream of outfits. She wore six different Dior dresses, attending premieres for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire in places like Paris, Berlin, and Madrid.”

While wearing one of these gowns, provided by the notable fashion house, JLaw took her infamous Oscar tumble. That trip in such a stately and elegant dress, matched with the actress’ comical recovery comment, and made the public and the JLaw fan base even stronger, as she became more endearing and “real” among a room full of celebrities who are anything but.

The star has since gone on to up her style game on the regular and can be seen wearing a slew of designer labels in addition to Dior. Lawrence, however, continues to be a celebrity face associated with the brand. Her most recent campaign, featuring a new bag for the fashion house, began earlier this year.
