New Adele Song ‘Hello’ From ’25’ Album, Along With Music Video, Will Drop Tomorrow

A new Adele song will be available tomorrow. It will be the first single from her upcoming album, 25. The new Adele song will be accompanied by a new video.

The new song, “Hello,” isn’t totally new. A 30-second preview of the song was first revealed in a commercial during The X Factor, last Sunday in the United Kingdom. Just that little snippet sent fan speculation through the roof about what great heights she was capable of reaching on her upcoming project.

The new album, 25, won’t be released until November 20. Adele says this album will carry a different tone when compared to her previous work. She named it 25, as a reference to the age when she started recording this new work, though she is currently 27. It follows the age naming conventions that all three of Adele’s full-length projects have carried.

In the lead up to the album and new song, as reported by Rolling Stone, Adele wrote an open letter and published it on Twitter, detailing her process and bearing her emotions. She also spoke specifically about the theme of the upcoming work.

“My last record was a break-up record and if I had to label this one I would call it a make-up record. I’m making up with myself. Making up for lost time. Making up for everything I ever did and never did. But I haven’t got time to hold on to the crumbs of my past like I used to. What’s done is done.”

Only time will tell if she can top 21, which she released in 2011. As the rest of Adele’s Twitter letter will tell you, there are a lot of reasons she is releasing this new album in 2015, over four and a half years after the last one.

Adele is looking to bring together a more optimistic effort, as the theme of the new song has revealed from it’s 30-second take. The new Adele song should bring us full circle into a healing process. If she can make-up as good as she can break-up, then the 4-year-wait, which felt like an eternity for fans, will all be worth it. In fact, Adele has already put out the entire track list. The 11-song effort has been detailed in The Wall Street Journal as follows.

1. “Hello”
2. “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)”
3. “I Miss You”
4. “When We Were Young”
5. “Remedy”
6. “Water Under the Bridge”
7. “River Lea”
8. “Love in the Dark”
9. “Million Years Ago”
10. “All I Ask”
11. “Sweetest Devotion”

These track names don’t totally indicate the singer is a woman who has totally overcome her heartbreak, but it does show she is ready for change. Perhaps in her next album she will have totally have moved on, new love and all. Until then, we can enjoy the powerfully real emotions reflected in Adele’s music. It takes true experience to inspire a sound as real as Adele’s.

If you don’t believe in the raw talent of Adele, just look to a cover version of Adele’s hit “Rolling in the Deep,” covered by the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin, on her collection of cover tunes, released last year. That would have to be the ultimate endorsement from another unforgettable voice in the music industry.

As fans gear up to take a listen to the full version of “Hello,” see the video, and then look forward to the other songs, Adele is set to show she is still the most prominent female voice. The new Adele song, and the album to come soon after, will once again carry fans through tear-tinged break-ups and low emotional points, and show how they, too, can come out on top.
