Kris Jenner Releases Statement Regarding Khloe Kardashian And Lamar Odom’s Decision To Call Off Their Divorce

Kris Jenner appears to be happy about Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s decision to call off their divorce as he continues to recover from an overdose at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Just hours after TMZ announced that the couple would remain married, Kris Jenner spoke out.

When Access Hollywood‘s Billy Bush asked Kris Jenner what she thought about the news of their divorce dismissal on October 21, Kris Jenner said, “Nothing but love.”

Also on Wednesday, Kris Jenner posted a message for her daughter, Kim Kardashian, on Instagram.

“Happy Birthday my beautiful angel girl!!!!! You are the most amazing daughter, wife, sister, Mother, ROOM MATE, and best friend. God has blessed me with you and it has been the most wonderful 35 years. I love you beyond words……Mommy.”

Kris Jenner’s post came just days after she spoke of Odom in a sweet message to fans, which read, “Come on Lamar!!!! You are such a champion… I know you got this…. #ourfighter #pleasepray #love #thatsmileiseverything.”

Last Tuesday, October 13, Kris Jenner was at Khloe’s side, when she boarded a private jet to Las Vegas, where Odom had been hospitalized just hours prior due to what is believed to have been a drug overdose. According to a TMZ report at the time, Kris Jenner and her daughters, Khloe and Kim, flew to the Sunrise Hospital, where they remained at Odom’s side until Friday, when Kris Jenner and Kim headed back to Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Khloe stayed put, failing to leave Odom’s bedside until the couple were transported via medical helicopter to L.A. on Monday.

When Odom first arrived to the hospital after being found unconscious at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada, he was intubated, which indicated he couldn’t breathe, and several of his organs, including his heart, kidneys, and lungs, were failing. He was also in a coma and remained in a coma until last Friday, when he opened his eyes and began communicating.

Since moving to a Los Angeles hospital, where he has since been visited by Kris Jenner and other members of the family, Odom is said to have been making positive progress. That said, the road to recovery is expected to be a long one.

In fact, some have said Kris Jenner’s son-in-law isn’t doing as well as the media has portrayed. On October 21, Radar Online claimed Odom is still “very sick” and warned fans not to be surprised if Odom takes a turn for the worse in the coming weeks.

“The Kardashian spin machine has been in overdrive telling media outlets Lamar has been improving daily. The reason they are doing this is it allows Kim, Kendall, Kylie and Kendall to carry on with their appearances, and posting selfies on social media. The truth is that the dialysis Lamar is getting every other day is taking a toll on his body… Lamar is sleeping most of the day, struggling to talk, and definitely hasn’t been walking.”

The source went on to reveal that while Kris Jenner’s son-in-law has sat up, he hasn’t been sitting in a chair. Instead, his hospital bed simply reclines him forward to a sitting position.

Despite the report, Kris Jenner has remained extremely hopeful for Odom’s recovery and continues to pray for the former professional athlete.
