French Montana Weighs In On Ex-Girlfriend Khloe Kardashian’s Dedication To Lamar Odom: ‘It’s A Beautiful Thing’

French Montana weighed in on Khloe Kardashian’s dedication to Lamar Odom in a new interview.

Since last Tuesday, October 13, Kardashian has been at the bedside of Odom, her estranged husband, who was found unconscious at a brothel outside of Las Vegas and quickly hospitalized. Immediately upon hearing of her estranged husband’s condition, Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, along with sister Kim Kardashian boarded a private jet and flew directly to the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas, where Odom was taken after first being stabilized at another facility. As TMZ reported at the time, things weren’t looking good for Odom, and many believed he may not make it.

While Odom has been through a lot in the last week, including an overdose, a coma, failing organs, and other serious medical conditions, including aspiration pneumonia, Kardashian hasn’t left his side. As his care continues, she plans to continue to support him.

Although many have been taken back by Kardashian’s dedication to her estranged husband, French Montana feels it is perfectly appropriate.

“It’s a beautiful thing what she’s doing,” French Montana told the New York Daily News’ Confident@l at the Tidal X 10/20 concert in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday. “I feel like every woman should do that. I feel like once somebody’s going through a critical condition, I feel like people should step up to the plate to help because once upon a time they had a real relationship when they was married, they still married.”

Not only has French Montana’s ex-girlfriend remained at Odom’s side throughout his health battle, she is also prepping her Los Angeles home to be equipped with a rehab center, where Odom will continue his physical therapy and other care after his hospital release.

Below is what a source revealed to Hollywood Life.

“While Lamar is doing great and showing all the possible signs of improvement, Khloe knows the hard work is ahead. Doctors have told her that Lamar’s going to need an extensive about of rehabilitation and she’s preparing for that by turning her home into a rehab center.”

French Montana was the first guy Kardashian dated after splitting from Odom in 2013, and the couple were involved in an on-and-off relationship until this past spring when they went their separate ways. Kardashian then began dating James Harden.

During a recent interview with Complex Magazine, Kardashian spoke of her romance with French Montana, via Hollywood Life, denying rumors that their time together was nothing more than a rebound relationship.

“I don’t know if I believe in rebounds, unless you just sleep with someone for a night or two. They’re just people you can laugh and have a good time with. My life is so serious, or always moving so fast, it’s fun to have that outlet to enjoy and let your hair down and not worry about things.”

While in Brooklyn, New York, for the Tidal X 10/20 concert, French Montana was spotted with Kardashian’s younger half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and later shared a photo of them on his Instagram page.

With the photo, which also included singer Justine Skye (seen below), French Montana included the caption, “#YoungLegends.”

When asked whether or not he had spoken to his ex-girlfriend since Odom was hospitalized, French Montana said, “No.”

Throughout the last year-and-a-half, French Montana has been seen and mentioned on both Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons.
