Kaley Cuoco, Ryan Sweeting In Nasty Divorce As He Seeks Spouse Support: Drug Addiction Or Johnny Galecki Split Cause?

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting aren’t exactly getting a big bang out of their split. For The Big Bang Theory actress Kaley, the heartbreak of a breakup is getting complex as Cuoco now also has to deal with a request from Ryan for spousal support. Sweeting has detailed his demands for financial support, and the outcome remains to be determined, reported People.

Kaley, 29, had a prenuptial agreement. Cuoco and Ryan signed that pact one month before they were married. But despite that agreement, Sweeting now is asking that the court end any chance that it could give spousal support to Kaley.

Cuoco and Ryan, 28, wed in 2013 after dating for only three months. The Big Bang Theory actress was the one who made the decision to divorce Sweeting. Kaley listed irreconcilable differences as the reason.

But what made Cuoco decide to divorce Ryan after such a short marriage? It depends on who you ask, and an insider noted that it appeared both the actress and sports star were unhappy after trying to make their marriage last for more than 21 months.

“The few times Kaley and Ryan were out together recently, the tension was noticeable,” revealed the insider. “You could tell the honeymoon phase had ended. It seemed they were trying to work out their marriage by going on dates, but they both seemed miserable.”

Sweeting and Cuoco can’t even seem to agree on the date that they split as well as the issue of how their prenuptial agreement plays in the situation, reported Fox News.

Sweeting put September 25 as the date of the breakup, but Kaley listed September 3. The official statement kept the couple’s split news simple.

“Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

Did Kaley make the decision to get married too quickly? In 2014, Cuoco insisted that she knew Ryan was right for her, describing Sweeting as “the one.” And she gushed over her wedding.

“[At my wedding], I felt like a rock star and a badass. What was amazing in that room, it was so full of love. It was like nothing I’d ever been to before, and it was exactly what we wanted it to be. It was the eighth wonder of the world, the greatest wedding of all time,” claimed Kaley.

Cuoco has a fortune of about $45 million. In contrast, Ryan has approximately $2 million.

Amid the ongoing issues of the split between Sweeting and Kaley, Cuoco also has had to deal with rumors that the breakup occurred because of a romance with her co-star Johnny Galecki, as the Inquisitr reported.

Reports are also swirling that Kaley and Galecki are continuing to date secretly. Johnny joined Cuoco in heading to social media to try to cancel out those romance reports.

Although Galecki and Kaley’s characters Leonard and Penny did get married on the Big Bang Theory, Cuoco wants to make it clear that what happens in front of the cameras has nothing to do with real life. Her social media remarks come after reports that Galecki and Kaley are so bonded that it caused Cuoco to break up with Ryan.

“So sorry to disappoint, but no home wreckers or secret flings going on here. Me and @sanctionedjohnnygalecki are just the best of buds- Leonard and Penny will just have to suffice!!!” posted Kaley.

But Cuoco may have made the decision to divorce Ryan over his painkiller addiction, according to the Daily Caller.

A source revealed that Sweeting claimed to be seeking sobriety but that Kaley revealed he failed in his attempts.

“She said he couldn’t make the commitment to get sober. He’d tell her he was working on it and instead go get wasted,” said the insider.

The painkiller addiction allegedly resulted from a prescription for narcotics when Ryan underwent back surgery in 2014. However, in 2006, Ryan was arrested for drug possession and a DUI.
