‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam’s Trial Is Set To Begin, Cane Faces Drama Over Hilary Ransom

What’s coming up on Tuesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless? Spoilers share that everybody is bracing for Adam’s trial regarding Delia’s death. In addition, Cane was arrested for the ransom regarding Hilary, and there are more developments regarding that on the way, as well. Viewers will definitely want to tune in to the October 20 episode.

As She Knows Soaps details, Victoria and Billy will talk about Adam’s trial. She worries about the depth of Billy’s anger and hatred toward Adam, and she says that Billy needs to accept what happens, no matter how wrong it was.

Chris and Paul will arrive, and Christine notes how Billy’s anger actually may work to benefit Adam at the trial. Billy swears he’ll tone it down a bit. However, Billy worries that Chelsea will be helping Adam, and he heads off to find her.

Victoria, Nikki, and Victor will be talking about Adam and the trial, as well. The Young and the Restless spoilers from Celeb Dirty Laundry indicate that Victor will talk about Adam, and how he is still his son, no matter what else he has done. Victor seemingly defends Adam, and viewers will also see Victoria open up about understanding Adam’s anger a bit, as she had overheard Victor comment on Nick taking over the company some day.

Cane was arrested for seemingly being behind the ransom demand regarding Hilary, but Young and Restless spoilers share that Lily will bail him out in Tuesday’s episode. He initially thanks her for standing by him, but he will quickly realize that she isn’t entirely confident about her husband’s innocence.

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that Devon, Paul, and Christine will connect at the Dive Bar to talk about Cane and the ransom. Neil will share the latest regarding Cane with Nikki, noting that people can do things they never would have imagined if the circumstances are right. Cane will show up, and he and Devon get into a heated confrontation over these latest events.

Devon, of course, isn’t happy that Lily bailed out Cane, but she explains that she did it because he is her husband. The two discuss the likelihood of Cane being behind the ransom, though Lily can’t believe he would do it. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Neil will talk with Cane about it, believing that someone is setting Cane up, and whoever it is must be angling for something big.

As viewers saw on Monday’s show, Chelsea and Adam ended up in bed together. While he will comment about this being the beginning of a fresh start for them, she will say it was a goodbye. Adam will talk about how Victor offered to help him flee town, but Chelsea worries that Victor is setting him up.

Billy shows up, naturally furious to discover that Chelsea and Adam have been together again. Once Billy leaves, they talk again about the idea of Adam running. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that she will tell him he needs to accept responsibility for Delia’s sake, and he’ll lose her and Connor if he runs.

Everybody will gather at the courthouse, ready for Adam’s trial to begin. Both Michael and Adam are running late, making many wonder if Adam took off. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Chelsea soon shows up and mentions how Victor did offer to help Adam disappear, though she makes it clear she didn’t trust Victor’s offer.

While Adam clearly considers running, ultimately he shows up in court and the trial continues later in the week. Also ahead this week, viewers will see more with Sharon, Ashley, Cane, and Marisa.

A verdict is set to come already on Friday’s show, and The Young and the Restless fans are anxious to put this ongoing storyline to rest at last, regardless of the outcome. Viewers won’t want to miss a minute of the action as it plays out this week.
