Teresa Giudice Can’t Film ‘RHONJ’ Under House Arrest?

Teresa Giudice is just a few weeks away from being released. In about two months, this mother of four will be released from prison. Her lawyer suspects that she will be released on December 23 so she can spend the holidays with her family. Joe Giudice is expected to head to jail after her, but it is possible that the judge will let them spend the holidays together before he goes in to serve over three years in jail.

But Teresa Giudice may be facing a hurdle when it comes to making money. Teresa is scheduled to be on house arrest while she is serving the remainder of her sentence. She was originally sentenced to 15 months behind bars, and she will be released after serving short of 12. In other words, Giudice will have a few months to serve once she is released.

According to a new Radar Online report, Teresa Giudice may not be able to film The Real Housewives of New Jersey once she is released. It sounds like Bravo is banking on filming her once she returns to her New Jersey home and capturing every moment for the show. But Teresa could be banned from filming, as she is technically still serving her sentence.

“It looks like Teresa might not be able to film while she is under house arrest. The Bureau of Prison’s has to sign off on it, and no decision has been made,” a source has revealed, adding that Teresa will be on house arrest for two months when she is released.

Her original release date should be near February or March 2016, which means the taping could be delayed even further. Bravo has already been criticized for waiting so long. The network could have easily filmed another season of the series, showing how Melissa Gorga and Teresa’s brother Joe Gorga dealt with the sentence. But the network decided to make it all about Teresa and her family, which doesn’t sit well with both New Jersey housewives and viewers.

“Bravo had hoped to film Teresa and Joe’s final days together before he begins serving his four year prison sentence beginning in March,” the insider explained, adding, “The entire show revolves around Teresa, so the network has no other choice but to wait.”

Many fans have expressed their frustrations on Twitter, hinting that they simply don’t care about the Giudice family anymore. The Real Housewives of New Jersey isn’t just about one person, but Bravo has made it about one person. If fans truly don’t care anymore, then Giudice’s book, Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again, probably won’t sell very well.
Fans may be more interested in hearing what Giudice’s brother has to say about everything. Joe Gorga recently revealed that he blames Joe Giudice for her sister going to jail. According to People magazine, Gorga doesn’t know who else to blame, and this is shocking for Teresa’s husband.

“I don’t know why he would blame me, but everybody’s got their own opinion,” Giudice replied, then putting the blame back on Gorga, adding, “I would blame more him than anybody, coming on the show and talking all the crap he talked, you know, all the years everything going on, so I would more blame him than me.”

Clearly, there is still a bit of tension between the Gorgas and the Giudices, and this could be a possible storyline for the upcoming season.

What do you think of Teresa Giudice’s possibly hurdle that she can’t film The Real Housewives of New Jersey? Do you think the show has become all about her, or are you excited to see what she has been up to behind bars?
