‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Will James Scott Return As EJ DiMera For 50th Anniversary?

Days of Our Lives fans are buzzing about the possibility of James Scott returning as EJ DiMera to reunite with his love Sami Brady. The latest spoilers for the show reveal that after receiving EJ’s letter, Sami will believe that her husband is alive and vow to find him one way or the other.

Enstarz reports that Sami Brady returned to Salem under terrible circumstances one year to the day that EJ DiMera was killed by one of Clyde Weston’s thugs. She is now planning her son Will Horton’s funeral as well as grieving for her first born son. Sami is obviously not in her right mind as she’s dealing with Will’s death, but could she be on to something?

There was a definite mystery surrounding EJ’s death. Days of Our Lives fans have always thought that EJ would return sometime in the future, and when better to do it than during the big 50th-anniversary celebration to ride off into the sunset with Sami?

As many viewers will remember, after EJ was killed his body was taken to the morgue, where Sami said a tearful goodbye to her lost love. After Sami left EJ’s sister, Kristen DiMera entered and injected his body with a mystery substance. EJ was then cremated, or so Sami believed. It would be very interesting to see James Scott reprise is role as a DiMera and return to Sami, who so obviously needs him after Will’s shocking and tragic murder at the hands of Salem’s latest serial killer, Ben Weston.

While actor James Scott has said he’s too busy to return as EJ Dimera this year, he is open to coming back to Days of Our Lives in the future. Meanwhile, the NBC soap is rumored to be hiding some information from fans in hopes of exciting and shocking them in the weeks to come.

This week, fans will see two familiar faces return to Salem. Bo Brady will finally be rescued with some serious help from his best friend, Steve “Patch” Johnson, as well as Bo’s son, Shawn Douglas Brady, who will come home after years away from home. However, Shawn will not be happy that his father has been absent or about the fact that his mother, Hope, has moved on to Aiden Jennings, her new fiance.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Shawn will not be a fan of Aiden, as perhaps he’ll be able to see through his facade and realize that he is using Hope for some reason. Maybe it will be Shawn and/or Bo who will expose Aiden’s past and the fact that he’s been working with Stefano DiMera, who ordered him to get close to Hope and eventually marry her.

There is so much going on in Salem right now and Days of Our Lives fans are only to see more and more drama throughout the end of the year. In addition to the returns we’ve already seen and the ones coming this week, Philip Kiriakis will also be back around Christmas, and characters like Aiden, Daniel, Eve, and Clyde will all be gone very soon.

Ratings are up for DOOL, and viewers of the long-running soap are excited again to watch the goings on of their favorite Salem residents, as well as fearful about who the necktie killer, Ben Weston, may target next. Will Chad DiMera go down for Ben’s crimes, or will the Salem P.D., namely Rafe Hernandez, figure out that Ben is not the well-mannered guy he’s pretending to be?

One thing is for sure: Days of Our Lives is better than ever right now, and fans are loving every minute of it. You won’t want to miss a moment of the drama in Salem. Set those DVRs!
