A man from Portsmouth, New Hampshire has been arrested for the 153rd time, one week after being released from a 1 year jail term on a previous theft charge.
Paul Baldwin was arrested on charges of assault Sunday, a week after finishing a one-year jail sentence for stealing a $1.99 can of beer. The victim alleges that Baldwin punched him at a local market and then called police.
Baldwin was arraigned June 1 by video from the Rockingham County House of Corrections. Baldwin has no address and has been in trouble with the law previously for misdemeanor charges, including drinking in public, tresspassing, petty theft, assault, social security fraud, etc.
He was also cited twice for violation-level offenses during his first week out of jail, once for a trespassing on the railroad tracks and another time for having an open container of beer.
Baldwin is wearing a mask in the photo because he has an undiagnosed respiratory condition.

This loser just wants to stay in jail to let the tax payers support him. Why else would he – instead of getting a real job – waste everyone's time by forcing them to deal with his idiocy? It pisses me off that lowlifes like this spend their entire lives causing havoc, stealing whatever they can get their hands on which ultimately raises prices for the rest of us who work and have a sense of social responsibility. What a jerk….

Before you guys condemn this man, why don't you try to understand why he is that way in the first place? Ever wonder what his childhood was like? Ever stop to think that may he had some big dreams at one point and things didn't work out and so now he just doesn't care anymore?
None of you shit talkers are perfect. You like to think that you are only because your faults are known to you alone. He is not a loser to me, instead, he just got caught up in the system.
A loser is a big and wealthy and corrupt business man that travels over seas on “business” trips and has sex with underage girls and boys and then comes back to the states proud as though nothing ever happened, and when he looses all of his money, he commits suicide. Pete – I would say you are the loser with those stupid comments. Everyone has to deal with disappointment at some time or over come a troubled childhood. That is no excuse to turn into a criminal. If you feel so sorry for him, bail him out of jail and move him into your home. Let's see how well that goes. Also, those wealthy corporate folks? They are the reasons people have jobs – thank God for rich guys – they are the reason my husband and I have a job!

I DISAGREE WITH PETE AND CAROL S, FIRST OFF PETE YOU DID MAKE SOME GOOD POINTS HOWEVER A MAN THAT HAS BEEN ARRESTED OVER A HUNDRED TIMES DIDNT JUST GET CAUGHT IN THE SYSTEM HE COMMITED CRIMES WHICH IN RETURN HE HAS TO SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES. AT SOME POINT YOU WOULD THINK HE WOULD APPRECIATE HIS FREEDOM IF HE DOES NOT CARE ANYMORE THEN THAT IS HIS PROBLEM AND HE WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE THINGS WORSE FOR HIMSELF AND THE PEOPLE AROUND HIM. Why hasn't anyone mentioned the fact that he probably has a mental illness or mental disorder? What sound-minded person can keep breaking the law and not develop some kind of fear or guilt as to make them want to not ever break the law again? It should be mandatory for these people to get a mental evaluation and/or psychological counseling. By concentrating on the problem instead of the punishment, maybe a solution could be found.

Why else would he….let's see…perhaps he's mentally ill, perhaps he has no home and no job training, perhaps it's ridiculous for him to arrested for drinking beer in public and crossing railroad tracks…perhaps you should work on your myopic world view that allows you to judge someone you have no idea about….perhaps that's one of the huge problems in our society…
