Drake And Karrueche Tran Party At The Same Club After Chris Brown Gets Dissed In ‘WATTBA’ Mixtape

Drake and Chris Brown’s longstanding feud may have escalated last month after Drake took aim at Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran, in his new mixtape, but it looks like things are getting even more awkward between the hip hop stars after Drake was seen partying at the same nightclub as Karrueche this weekend.

Drake was photographed entering the West Hollywood nightclub, Mr. Nice Guy, on Friday just hours before paparazzi spotted Karrueche Tran making her way to the trendy hotspot, Daily Mail reports.

While it’s unclear whether or not Drake and Karrueche actually spoke to one another while inside the club, it’s likely that Karrueche made a point to avoid Drake, seeing as the rapper recently dissed Tran and Chris Brown in his track, “Live from the Gutter,” from his collaborative mixtape with Future titled, What A Time To Be Alive.

In Drake’s track, which dropped in September, Drake takes shots at his longtime feud with Chris Brown while fueling speculation that Karrueche Tran was romantically involved with Future’s DJ, Esco.

“This for my n****s on that bull**** and that nonsense / This is for my dogs that go Karrueche with the chopsticks.”

While Karrueche made a point to shoot down the Esco dating rumors, Chris Brown took to Instagram to let his fans know that he wasn’t interested in engaging in another heated feud with Drake despite the track’s lyrics, E! News reports.

While Brown chose not to directly name Drake in his Instagram video, Chris admits that he’s “too blessed for the bull****” before hinting that Drake’s attempt to diss him in “Live from the Gutter” shows Drake’s “insecurities.”

Chris Brown went on to argue that he’s content with being who he is, before seemingly shading Drake’s ongoing feud with himself and Meek Mill by stating that “a lot of these artists” need to rely on headline-making feuds in order to stay relevant.

While Drake chose not to respond to Chris Brown’s Instagram statement, this isn’t the first time Drake and Chris have made headlines for their longtime feud.

Drake and Chris Brown first ignited feud rumors in 2013 after the duo had a violent run-in at a NYC nightclub that reportedly stemmed from both Brown and Drake’s former romance with Rihanna.

While Drake and Chris Brown later settled their feud over Rihanna and even agreed to work together on a musical collaboration, things took a turn for the worse after Chris Brown accused Karrueche Tran of having a romantic relationship with Drake while Brown served a jail sentence in 2014 for violating his probation.

Chris Brown put his rocky relationship with Karrueche and beef with Drake on blast in December by announcing his newly single status before airing out some salacious information about her alleged romance with Drake, BET reports.

Chris Brown took to Instagram to allege, “I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!”

Karrueche Tran later shot down Chris Brown’s accusations by implying that Brown was simply bitter over her decision to end their relationship, but the romantic rumors between Drake and Karrueche Tran only continued to escalate.

While Chris Brown has yet to comment on Drake and Karrueche’s reportedly “awkward” run-in on Friday, fans have already begun to speculate that there may be more to come in Chris Brown and Drake’s ongoing feud.

Currently, Chris Brown is preparing for the release of his highly anticipated studio album, Royalty, while Drake is taking the remainder of 2015 to complete his LP, Views from the 6.
