Khloe Kardashian Asks Brothel Owner To Stop Talking To The Press

Khloe Kardashian and her reps have reportedly reached out to the owner of the Nevada brothel where Lamar Odom was found unconscious last week, asking him to stop talking to the press about what allegedly happened.

Kardashian and her attorneys released a statement, saying they had requested that Dennis Hof respect the privacy of Khloe and Lamar as he remains in the hospital with her at his side. Hof had previously spoken to the media about Odom’s visit, saying he “was having a good time” at the legal brothel, but denying there were any drugs found in the room. He also spoke with Nancy Grace, revealing that Odom had spent $75,000 and wanted two women in his room at all times, for every whim.

“That was his number. What he wanted was two girls, 24 hours a day to take care of any of his needs, from food… anything in the bedroom. The girls agreed to it. He put it on a credit card,” Hof said.

Odom was reportedly found to have a large amount of cocaine in his system and, according to various media outlets, is fighting for his life in a battle involving his kidneys and other organs trying to shut down.

“We reached out to Dennis yesterday politely asking him to respect Lamar’s (and Khloe’s) privacy during this difficult time and refrain from talking to the press. This is a very painful situation, as I know you are aware, and the idea that anyone would use it to seek publicity is really sad,” the statement read.

Khloe immediately flew to Nevada to be with Odom after the news broke that he had been found unresponsive, and has reportedly been making all the medical decisions during his stay because they are still legally married. However, the stress of it all has allegedly taken a toll on Khloe, as Odom’s condition remains fragile.

“She never dreamed that she’d have these responsibilities, and it’s just so overwhelming and unexpected. She had been thinking of him as an ex, so to find out that, ‘No, you have to do this.’ Well that’s really hard for her,” a source told People.

The basketball star has had several friends reach out and offer prayers of support, but has allegedly been unresponsive while in intensive care except for a brief moment when he responded to Khloe. Several members of the Kardashian family have flown out to Nevada to be closer to the estranged couple, including Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner. According to Us Weekly, Odom has suffered a series of strokes since his arrival at the hospital and has been put on a respirator.

Although rumors have circulated that Odom has been suicidal after his split from Khloe, nothing has been confirmed that says he was trying to hurt himself. And while some wonder whether the alleged overdose will bring the couple back together, Khloe had been trying to move on before Odom’s hospitalization and was developing her own talk show, Kocktails With Khloe, which is still set to premiere in December. The series is reportedly on hold for production as long as she needs to stay in Nevada, but a source for the FYI network says it will still go on and will be a cooking show that features celebrity guests.

“Khloe has been incredibly passionate about this show and extremely hands-on. No one will move on anything without her complete involvement. Everyone just feels so bad that she has to go through this right now when she has been such a great star on this new show,” the source said.
