Kim Kardashian Unveiled: Find Out What You Didn’t Already Now About The Reality Star
Kim Kardashian is no stranger to the spotlight and the public may think that they know just about everything when it comes to the reality star. Believe it or not, there is more to Kim K than what graces television screens and tabloids.
Vogue recently unveiled Kim K even more for fans and the general public to soak up far beyond what is already launched on the daily about the soon-to-be mother of 2. The publication is sure to note what an “oxymoron” it is to share items that the world doesn’t know about Kardashian and her hubby Kanye, sharing also that Kim is completely aware that her life is like living in a fish bowl.
“The social media star has… published a coffee-table book of selfies. One of her weddings was broadcast on E!. Her bottom broke the Internet. She announced her second pregnancy in a teaser for her reality series. Even she has admitted that her life is ‘like living on The Truman Show.’ What else could there possibly be left to uncover?”
Kim, who is often criticized for being famous for doing nothing, apparently has left a few things out of her public lifestyle. Vogue admits that “serious digging” was necessary, but managed to bring Kim K fans a few unknown facts.
The first interesting and somewhat unsettling fact is that O.J. Simpson claims to be the star’s godfather. Yes, that’s right. Reportedly, the ex-football player was very close with the Kardashians back in the day and O.J. even claims to have been in the delivery room for Kim’s birth. When pressed about the subject, Kim replied “It’s weird. I just try not to think about it.”
An additional odd connection the star has, involves Michael Jackson’s nephew T.J. Kim Kardashian is reported to have dated the said nephew for several years as a teen and was even treated to a 14th birthday party at the Neverland Ranch. About the experience, Kim spoke with People back in 2009.
“That was the most magical place on earth. When you drove up, there were baby elephants and chimpanzees in overalls, and there was all the rides. It was everything you can possibly imagine. The memories I have from that place will last for the rest of my life.”
Growing up in the lap of luxury has allowed Kim to be showered with the finer things in life including priceless jewelry inspired by Elizabeth Taylor. The star admits to being gaga for Taylor and even goes so far as to call herself “a nerd” for the Hollywood icon. Kardashian, interestingly enough, was also the last person, back in 2011, to interview Taylor before she passed away.
As for caring for her own priceless pieces, the star once revealed that she goes as far as to blow dry all of her jewelry before she wears it, noting “I can’t stand putting on cold jewelry. It gives me the chills.”
When it comes to more of her guilty pleasures, jewelry aside, Kim shares that she is not a fan of indulging in alcohol. She prefers iced tea and sweets as opposed to the effects of alcohol and drugs. The star only indulges in a shot or two while visiting Sin City.
For a star who pretty well lives her life for all to see, the publication did a fine job in bringing to light a few unknown facts about the star who much of the public can’t get enough of, for good or for bad. Kim and her family’s run on reality is far from over as Keeping Up With The Kardashians is on to its 11th season. The fan base continues to be strong and true for the uber-public Kardashian-Jenner clan.
