Kate Middleton And Prince William On Putting Family First, William Wants To Avoid Pressure That Was Put On Diana

Kate Middleton and Prince William have finally begun to make appearances together after numerous events at which William arrived solo without the Duchess. Kate spent her months between May and October caring for her newborn and taking a step back from royal duties to ensure she could be as hands-on as possible with her little ones. Rumors began to make the rounds that perhaps Kate was suffering from post-partum depression which was keeping her out of the spotlight. After seeing William and Kate finally step out as a duo at the Rugby World Cup’s opening ceremony recently, it is clear that the beauty and mother of two is far from depressed. She has worn nothing but a warm and beaming smile, looking as radiant as ever while on the arm of William. It is clear that the couple is still just as smitten with one another as they were the day they married four years ago.

An insider made note to Closer of Kate and William’s demeanor while in attendance at the sporting event.

“They were very unified — clapping and cheering for England’s team.”

The couple’s happiness clearly carried over into their parenting. William and Kate have been noted as both taking the appropriate time to spend with their little ones and are said to be equally active in all parental roles. Closer relays words from a source who is aware of the routines of the royals with their little Prince and Princess.

“Kate is the one that usually gets them up in the mornings. She is big on schedules. When Will is home, he bathes them, reads stories and puts them to bed. William wants to be more involved [in family life] than his father, Prince Charles, was. They want to give their children the childhood Will always longed for.”

Additionally, the source shares that Will does not want Kate to feel the same pressure which plagued his mother Diana, when she was raising him and his brother Harry with little assistance from their father. It seems as though Kate and Will have got it right. They always look cheerful and truly happy in each other’s presence and are clearly a unified parental team who ensures to be there for one another while taking on the challenges of parenthood in the public eye.

William recently spoke warmly about his and Kate’s two cuties and gushed over their vastly different personalities. International Business Times makes note of the details from the conversation that Professor Dobson, of Cambridge University, had with the Duke of Cambridge.

“We talked a little bit about the children and he did make a couple of comments about their different temperaments. He said George is very lively and Charlotte is very ladylike. He said they were both delightful of course.”

The professor gifted William with a children’s book for his and Kate’s little ones, and the publication also reminded of words that the Prince uttered in an interview earlier this year.

“[Charlotte’s] been a little joy from heaven. But at the same time, it’s a lot more responsibility, looking after two little ones, especially when George is around. He’s a little monkey.”

The adoration that both Kate and William have for one another clearly spills over into their affection and adoration for their tiny tots. The royals maintain a strong relationship that allows parenting to be an experience as a team instead of a struggle of balance. Even though William has a job as an air ambulance pilot outside of his royal duties, he still steps up daily as a father and husband.
