Taylor Swift To Cover ‘Playboy’ Magazine? Singer Could Be Magazine’s First Non-Nude Model

Rumor has it that Taylor Swift could become Playboy’s first non-nude model. The men’s magazine shocked its readers and former Playmates when it announced that it will do away with its glossy and nude centerfolds by March 2016.

Now rumors are swirling that Taylor Swift is interested in being the first non-nude celeb once the magazine revamps its image. She may even grace the cover of the magazine for the first time ever, an alleged source told the Hollywood Life. Not only will Swift pose for the sexy magazine, but she will also have an interesting feature.

“Playboy wants to make a splash on their first non-nude cover and they would love to have Taylor Swift on the cover and pair that with an amazing interview inside. The Playboy brand knows having such a powerful woman on their will really show the new look that they are going for as they rebrand.”

Keep in mind that this is just a rumor at the moment. The Hollywood Life has created its share of crazy rumors about Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s on-and-off relationship, and about the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards. The celebrity gossip blog even got it wrong when it claimed that Taylor Swift would perform at this year’s award show, and that host Miley Cyrus would slam the “Bad Blood” singer! Neither Swift nor Playboy have yet confirmed or responded to the rumors about having her grace the cover of the racy magazine.

Playboy Magazine does claim that their readers are still interested in their articles. On Monday, Oct. 12, the brand announced to the New York Times that they are doing away with nude photos. The company’s chief executive Scott Flanders says that nude photos can be found anywhere on the internet, which makes the thought quite antiquated.

“That battle has been fought and won. You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passé at this juncture.”

It wouldn’t be hard to imagine Taylor Swift posing for Playboy Magazine for the very first time. The singer just released her first-ever cover for GQ Magazine. Taylor didn’t exactly strip down to lacy lingerie or a string bikini for the photo shoot. In fact, she kept her clothes on. On the cover, she wears a nude tank dress over a black string bikini. Taylor’s GQ Magazine cover is a departure from the other female singers and entertainers who have posed nude or nearly nude for the men’s magazine.

On Friday, Oct. 16, the magazine released the behind-the-scenes video of the sexy beach photo shoot.

Shot in Malibu, the clip shows Swift, 25, wearing various cover-ups over bikinis. She practices her best smolder for the camera, as glimpses of the ocean and the sand are shown in between takes. There is also one shot of Swift laying on a bed as she coyly smiles at the camera.

Inside the November 2015 issue, the singer opens up about her friendship with Kanye West and her alleged feud with Katy Perry. Tay Tay also opens up about her infamous single “Bad Blood.” She says that she doesn’t name names in her songs, but she’s not denying that it’s about her fellow comrade.

“The fact that I’ve never confirmed who those songs are about makes me feel like there is still one card I’m holding. Listen to the song. It doesn’t point to any one person or any one situation.”

Earlier this year, Taylor Swift graced the cover of Maxim Magazine for the very first time. That’s because she topped the magazine’s Hot 100 list, also for the first time. Swift’s Maxim cover was a departure from others since she rocked an androgynous look while wearing a black crochet sweater. Inside the magazine, she talked about the importance of feminism.

“Misogyny is ingrained in people from the time they are born. So to me, feminism is probably the most important movement that you could embrace, because it’s just basically another word for equality.”

With Taylor Swift gracing the cover of Maxim and GQ for the very first time, it wouldn’t be a stretch if she was even featured in a non-nude shoot for Playboy. She also performed at the very sexy Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show two times, on her own terms. Not only is she changing the lingerie industry, but she’s also changing the men’s magazine industry.
