Kim Kardashian Attacked: Why Is Twitter Targeting Reality Star During Lamar Odom Tragedy?

Kim Kardashian is being attacked on Twitter, and it’s not okay.

After news broke of the Lamar Odom tragedy, Kim tried to be a pillar of strength for the family by letting everyone know that publishing would cease across all Jenner and Kardashian social media platforms.

Such a simple and caring gesture has brought forth the hate, with users like 804 Street Media saying the “Kardashian b****es are poison” and that Kanye West is “next.”

If only the barrage of insults had stopped there.

As many know, Twitter can be a horrible place for celebrities as Kim Kardashian is now finding out while being attacked during her and sister Khloe’s time of need.

One user responsible for Kim Kardashian being attacked said that “Lamar Odom wouldn’t be the depressed junkie he is now” if it wasn’t for crossing paths with Kim’s family.

Others celebrated the fact that “Lamar is half dead,” like Kim’s soul.

Anyone can see that the Kardashian family is hurting as Lamar Odom clings to life. Kendall Jenner posted a simple “please don’t go” to Twitter yesterday as doctors struggled to determine the probability of survival for the NBA basketball star and former husband of Khloe Kardashian.

According to Hollywood Life, Lamar Odom has shown “absolutely no improvement from the time he was admitted,” which leads many to believe that his health will only diminish over time.

Though a number of reports have shown glimmers of hope, with details about eye flutters and the 35-year-old squeezing his ex-wife’s hand, doctors have reportedly stated that the movements may have been involuntarily and just a result of reflexes.

As of now, four of his vital organs are reportedly failing, and he is unable to breathe on his own. Previous reports touched on the brain damage Lamar Odom has reportedly suffered, but more recent reports state that doctors speculate reduced brain function, which is only getting worse with time.

However, doctors still insist all is not lost and that there is hope he could survive. But, unfortunately, the possibility of him having a normal life is improbable.

The bleak circumstances have reportedly influenced Lamar Odom’s family members’ decision to prepare for the worst.

According to InTouch Weekly, Khloe Kardashian is reportedly preparing for the possibility of a heartbreaking outcome if Lamar’s condition doesn’t turn around fast. Unfortunately, many Kardashian social media followers are not taking the hint as to what the family is going through, hence Kim Kardashian being attacked.

The onslaught hasn’t been limited to her, though. There have also been detractors on Inquisitr’s own Facebook page accusing the Kardashians and Jenners of being “publicity hungry.”

What that has to do with having a soul and being able to feel and hurt and experience the vapid sense of loss that comes with the death of a loved one, they won’t say. Why the hate and why is Kim Kardashian being attacked in particular?

Part of it may have to do with her being the cornerstone and the public face of the family’s successful line of businesses. It also may be due to the fact that she is married to one of the most polarizing figures in music today, Kanye West.

For Kanye’s part, he has avoided much of the Lamar Odom hate that people have shown. His last tweet was a few days ago, and it had nothing to do with family.
