Get To Know Bravo’s New Show ‘Apres Ski’

Bravo is about to do for ski resorts, and do to Whistler what Below Deck has done for luxury yachting, which is to give it the doc-drama treatment in a way that Bravo does best. Apres Ski will premiere in November and let the world know what goes on after folks come off the slopes.

Adweek is reporting that Bravo is promoting the new series by asking if everyone needs a snow day. It was a contest that asked people to write in and explain why their office deserved a snow day.

“The real snow day will take place Nov. 2, the day of Après Ski premiere. Bravo will come to your office and you’ll receive some wintry nail art, massages, a live DJ, finger foods, a hot chocolate bar, a build your own cookie dough bar, and an animated snow globe GIF booth.”

The Toronto Sun says that Apres Ski will take viewers inside the upscale Whistler Ski Resort in British Columbia.

Apres Ski focuses on a new travel concierge business, Gibbons Life, on a mission to redefine old-school ski vacations by offering luxury clients experiences like backcountry heli-skiing.”

Broadway World is introducing the world of luxury skiing to Bravo fans. Canadian hospitality mogul, Joey Gibbons, is ready to kick it all up a notch for the cameras and show what British Columbia has to offer.

“To achieve this lofty goal, Joey has recruited a dream team of dynamic staff members to orchestrate unforgettable experiences – from backcountry heli-skiing and steamy hot springs spa treatments to fine dining in the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, no request is too outrageous.”

The cast consists of Bobby Crowder, Lynsey Dyer, Charlotte Fenton, Kendra Larkin, Tamara Moore,Jim Sced, and Elise Wims, who are all a part of the team that will bring Joy Gibbons’ dreams to life. The team has one season to make this new enterprise work and see if it can make a go of it.

Bravo is reporting that the staff is headed up by Bobby Crowder, who is a super VIP concierge. He is from Alberta, Canada, and is ready to construct the ski vacation of your dreams. Lynsey Dyer is an extreme skier, artist and filmmaker, and freestyle ski champion who also works as a concierge. She is happiest so close to the slopes.

Jim Sced is an outdoors man and adventurer that is happier doing anything outdoors rather than sitting in an office. He is excited to bring the outdoor spirit to the show. Kendra Larkin is a Californian with a foreign language and communications background, but she also has an eye for fashion. Kendra is also a VIP concierge for Gibbons.

Bravo says that they are planning to use Vanderpump Rules as a lead in to help launch the success of Apres Ski. Fans will get to see beautiful vistas, the mountains, and come along heli-skiing. Clients and visitors to the result will come and go each week, but the staff will have to learn how to see eye to eye in order for the whole business to succeed. Most fans will get to see a life far outside of their own, such as fine dining on a ski gondola while overlooking the mountain.
