Jill Duggar’s Husband Derick Dillard Upsets Fans By Saying He Is Babysitting Own Son
Derick Dillard of 19 Kids and Counting has really upset a lot of people today with a comment that he made on Twitter. As a new dad, sometimes he doesn’t realize the right wording to use and Derick actually stuck his foot in his mouth today. His simple tweet really upset a lot of people. Derick was hanging out with his son Israel David Dillard today, but instead of just pointing out that he was having a fun day with his little guy, Derick actually said that he was babysitting. At least, Derick Dillard was smart enough to put the hashtag explaining that he was spending time with his son today as a father, but the caption had a lot of people going crazy. The post now has over 600 comments and most of them are people saying that Derick should realize that you don’t babysit your own son. A few parents are speaking out saying their husband says the same thing and it is just a way to word things. Most of the comments want Derick Dillard to realize that this is called being a parent and not babysitting. Really, all that Derick Dillard probably meant was that he was at home with his son without Jill around to help them.
So far Derick Dillard has not commented at all on what people have to say about his choice of words today. He will obviously think twice before he says that he is babysitting his own child again. Everyone would love to hear what Derick thinks of how upset people are about the way he worded this today. It is actually surprising that Derick Dillard hasn’t removed this post considering all of the backlash that he is getting.

Not babysitting.” Some of the fans are defending Derick Dillard and saying that obviously he didn’t mean anything like that against his son.
A few of their fans are doing all that they can to defend Derick Dillard. They are even commenting to the people talking bad about him and sharing that they know Derick didn’t mean anything negative at all. It isn’t enough though, because the negative comments outweigh the positive ones on this post.
Jill Duggar and husband Derick Dillard have been very busy lately with their missionary work, but they also have a new show coming to TLC. They have already confirmed that there will be a few specials that are all about Jill and Derick Dillard and their life. These specials will also focus on Jessa and Ben Seewald and the birth of their new baby. If things go over well, then they should be doing more in the future.

The Hollywood Gossip shared that Jill and Derick Dillard were actually not approved to work as missionaries due to not having enough college credit hours that are religion based. So far Derick and Jill Dillard have avoided talking about this, but they are back in Arkansas with their family at this time. They may be going out again soon to work on missions and then everything can be explained.
