Official New Moon Trailer Released

I literally sat here in complete shock, with my mouth hanging open and everything, after i saw this. Wow

While watching the trailer, I went from to in a matter of seconds. They did exactly what I thought they would do. The Hollywood buzz went to their head and they cheesed it up and changed things around. They added fake looking special affects, Laurent's eye color looks over dramatic, they got rid of that darkish blue tint lighting that Catherine Hardwicke does in her movies that went awesome with Twilight. I think this movie will lose the essence of the book in all the played up special affects. I wish they still had a modest budget like in Twilight, where there weren't much of special effects but the dialogue was awesome. Sometimes less is more…what do you guys think?

OMG im so upset edward and bella are done but holy crap, home boy who turns into a wolfe got soooo hot… i cant wait, november is too far away!!!

Personally, I' quite happy with Jake's Wolf.
But I'm still kinda on the “Ehhhhhhhhh” side.

I'm not sure if it's just the close up that is making the wolf look smaller, or if that's how they really are.
I'm really hoping they are much bigger.

I'm super hoping.
But all in all.
This will most def be my favorite movie. (maybe)

I truly look New Moon, so i guess I will be expecting a lot more from the movie, since this is one of my fav, books from the series.

God when is this Twilight shit going to be over! I am so freaking sick of hearing about it! This is why movie suck so bad anymore, they are all targeted to a bunch of dumb ass teenagers who wouldn't know a good movie if someone shoved it up their asses. They have ruined the horror genre with all these bullshit PG-13 remakes, now this Twilight dopey teeny-bopper vampire Hot-Topic mall-goth shit…it makes me want to puke! When I was a teen, me and my friends would have laughed at this shit (just like we would have laughed at the emo-punk shit) I wanted to see real horror when I was a teen, the ORIGINAL “Texas Chainsaw Massacre”, the ORIGINAL “Dawn Of The Dead”, the ORIGINAL “Friday The 13th” I wouldn't have (and don't now) paid $1 to see that shit. But that's Hollywood, anything to make the $$$$

I'm sorry but to me there is too much “Vamp” in the trailer…I mean, isn't this movie more about the Wolves…so why is about 75% of the trailer featuring the vamps?? That's a bit dumb to be honest…
And I am not looking forward to this movie at all…The first movie ruined the books (or what little was good about the books) and I don't think that those effects they are using is going to make it any good at all…Go back to the lower priced effects and see just how much better it looks.

All I can say is read the books, please read. The Twilight movie was good, but nothing compared to the books. Personally I am glad they went with a new director. There was so much vital information and missing connections in the first movie, I hope this time they can do the book justice.

Ange girl. i think you got a good point but i disagree with it because like when edward leaves and jacob comes in the picture its not to be blueish because jacob is her sun !! the special effects are awesome because it is realistic where twilight got complaints for the sparkle effect etc ! so they dont really know what to do ,people want effects and some dont . and the buzz for the film is still going because it is from twilight series fans people who have read the book and dont care as long as they get the story on big screen to see how it is in action. my point of veiw is that the film is awesome and cant be ruined if they still have the cullens and werewolves.

I felt the same way… I realize it's a new director ad there will be things that have changed, but even belle's eye brows were plucked and she as wearing way more makeup then what she should. Very Hollywood, very sad. Maybe I'll wait till it comes out on DVD. The wolf also was to computerized, not as real, not as big, and the dialogue didn't have the passion or intend as the first. I know sequals are not always better then the first, but I was seriously hoping it was going to be. I'm bummed… Maybe other trailers might change my mind, fingers crossed.

how much did they want to change the film, in that 1:48 trailer about 1:40 of it sucked (the only good bit was when Jacob was topless…and when Edward took out jasper).
they totally changed the wolf bit. i don't know if they swapped bits round so she works it out first then Laurent finds her her what but it wasn't right, i get they have to change it to make it better for the screen, and theres meant to be about 8 wolves when their in the clearing not one plus it should be in the middle of the woods not on the quilluette res!
i just hope the script writer and director for eclipse.

That is the best, but the Cullen's house was total different. My favorite part is the end, where jake jumps over Bella's head, and that wolf rocks. For this movie am deffenitely Team Jacob for two reasons: One Edward leaves, hey I know he had good intentions, but still. Two these wolves are AWSOME!

i loved it! im so excited!! they changed almost nothing from the book, the only thing i saw changed was when Bella finds out Jacob is a warewolf. Also i think the wolf looks pretty cool, not much you can really do to make it better. i mean how would you make a warewolf look real when you couldnt use real warewolves?

OK….I have watched the trailer over and over and over lol and I have to say that I CAN'T wait to see the movie! It's going to be so cool!! I was surprised by how well it all flowed together…especially how they pieced the three completely different scenes of Jacob together to freak people out and make them think that they changed the story! That's genius! lol This movie is going to be WAY better than Twilight…and I have to say that the new people did an AMAZING job with the wolf and the whole phasing part!! That was what I was worried about them screwing up and they did a great job with it!

I think this trailer looked better then the twilight trailer…..omg i cant wait to watch this movie…it looks like its goin to be so good. Props to the Director and Cast. Rob looks AMAZING..(duh) and props for Taylor…i mean WOW. he looks great.

this movie is going to make history.
