Meghan King Edmonds Has A Fan In Tamra Barney, ‘RHOC’ Star Claims She’s ‘One Of The Best Castings’

Meghan King Edmonds may have been the new housewife on the block during the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, but according to her co-star, Tamra Barney, who has been with the show since Season 3, she’s one of the best castings Bravo has made in a while.

During an interview with All Things Real Housewives of October 12, Barney revealed her thoughts on Meghan King Edmonds’ addition to the Bravo reality show.

“I think [Meghan King Edmonds] is one of the best castings they have done in a long time. People got to see the really strong, don’t take any crap side of [Meghan King Edmonds]. I think what they didn’t get to see is that [Meghan King Edmonds] has a huge heart and is very caring. She really thought that she could have a friend in Vicki since they were both dealing with cancer. As soon as she started seeing the inconsistencies of Vicki and Brooks’s stories she wanted to get to the bottom of it… I don’t think anyone likes a liar.”

Meghan King Edmonds joined the Bravo reality show cast earlier this year as the wife of MLB legend Jim Edmonds. Prior to her addition, Jim’s second wife, Allison Raski, a former friend of Heather Dubrow, was in talks to appear on the show, but ultimately turned the network down, and a short time later, she and Jim parted ways.

In addition to Barney’s comments about Meghan King Edmonds, the reality star and mother of four also addressed the ongoing speculation into Brooks Ayers’ cancer diagnosis, claiming she no longer believed Ayers had cancer. According to Barney, there were several inconsistencies in Ayers’ cancer claims, which ultimately led her to raise questions, along with Meghan King Edmonds, about his stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

“I really don’t know? Last year, Vicki was telling everyone to ‘watch out for Tamra’ she will stab you in the back! (more like expose YOUR lies). This year she wants to show me Brooks PET/CT scan because I am closest to her? My gut tells me that she knew I didn’t know what I was reading and that I would just be their puppet and go back to the other girls and say… Brooks has cancer.”

Then, when All Things Real Housewives asked Barney she felt Gunvalson was in on Ayers’ lies, Barney asked, “How could she not?”

Since filming wrapped on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 over the summer, Barney has been spotted with Meghan King Edmonds, but not with Gunvalson, seemingly confirming the end of her relationship with Gunvalson, which isn’t all too surprising. Throughout the 10th season of the show, Barney’s relationship with Gunvalson was strained, mainly because of her newfound friendship with Meghan King Edmonds, who often targeted Gunvalson with her verbal attacks.

Due to her friendship with Meghan King Edmonds, Barney received tons of backlash online from fans who felt she should have been more loyal to Gunvalson, whom she’s known for several years, rather than Meghan King Edmonds, whom she’s only known for a handful of months. However, Barney doesn’t seem to mind the backlash and continues to post status updates about Meghan King Edmonds, and respond to fans who have enjoyed her addition to the show.
