‘RHOC’ Star Tamra Barney On Brooks Ayers’ Health: ‘I Don’t Think He Has Cancer’

RHOC star Tamra Barney has come out by saying she does not believe Brooks Ayers has cancer.

Throughout Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Barney has expressed her concern for her co-star, Vicki Gunvalson, who she says may have been lied to by her now ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers. During one scene in particular, the RHOC star telsl Gunvalson she has her doubts due to Meghan King Edmonds’ ongoing comments about Ayers possibly faking his stage three Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis.

According to Edmonds, she’s seen cancer and the way it progresses (her husband Jim’s first wife, LeAnn, died of cancer in July shortly after filming on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 wrapped), and Ayers simply didn’t show the same signs. In turn, Edmonds began doing research into Ayers’ diagnosis as her fellow RHOC star looked on. After calling Ayers’ ex-girlfriend and doctor, who allegedly didn’t even treat cancer, Edmonds reportedly contacted the facility where the RHOC star claimed to have gotten a PET-CT scan, and was informed they didn’t offer that service.

During RHOC star Barney’s conversation with Gunvalson, she admitted to having her doubts, and was immediately reprimanded for not having her friend’s back. According to Gunvalson, Barney should have shut her fellow RHOC star down when she learned Edmonds had contacted Ayers’ ex, whom Edmonds claimed told her Ayers had faked cancer in the past.

Although the RHOC star was a bit vague with her feelings toward Ayers’ diagnosis during filming, she has since spoken out in an October 12 interview with All Things Real Housewives, during which she made it clear that she did not believe Ayers’ cancer claims.

“I don’t think he has cancer,” RHOC star Barney confirmed. “But that is not my problem to worry about. Lying about something like cancer when so many people are fighting it and [losing] their lives is [disgusting] and he will have to answer to God and the two million viewers.”

“There were so many inconsistent stories circulating on camera and off. We all started noticing them immediately. Things just didn’t make sense! Why wouldn’t he see Shannon’s doctor? He was scheduled to film with her until she wanted to see his medical records. Where was this big binder full of medical records? Why did Vicki say she called Terry in the middle of the night? Why was Brooks drinking and traveling all over the place? Who stops chemo after 3 rounds when your not having secondary issues from it? There are so many unanswered questions.”

In addition to her shocking claims about Ayers, the RHOC star went on to allege her one-time best friend Gunvalson chose to show her Ayers cancer documents instead of other members of the cast because she knew she wouldn’t understand the terminology of the documents. The RHOC star then accused Gunvalson of attempting to use her as a puppet.

For the last few weeks, the RHOC star’s relationship with Gunvalson has seemed to be extremely strained, and judging by Barney’s latest interview, the rumors seem to be correct. Barney recently joked on Twitter about the end of her and Gunvalson’s friendship, and she certainly doesn’t speak of her in a friendly manner during her All Things Real Housewives interview.
