Melissa Gorga Reacts To Criticism Over Not Visiting Teresa Giudice, Jacqueline Laurita Reacts To Joe Giudice Saying She And Caroline Manzo Have Not Reached Out

Joe Gorga and Joe Giudice appeared on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live talk show after the premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In on Sunday night. In the audience was Joe’s wife, Melissa Gorga. The fact that Melissa has not visited Teresa Giudice in prison was brought up several times. While she remained silent, she did speak out on that subject on social media. Jacqueline Laurita also reacted on social media to Joe Giudice’s revelation that Dina Manzo and Teresa Aprea’s husband, Rino, have reached out to him and his family since Teresa began her prison sentence but not Jacqueline and Caroline and their families.

On the talk show, the camera panned to Melissa after both Joes said that she hasn’t visited Teresa yet. Melissa pursed her lips and looked away but didn’t say anything. One viewer tweeted that it’s a shame that Melissa has not gone to visit Teresa. Melissa replied to that criticism by pointing out that it’s not her fault that she hasn’t seen Teresa. Melissa wrote that while she would love to visit Teresa, she hasn’t been placed on the approved list of visitors, something which presumably has to be initiated by Teresa.

Another viewer chimed in that visitor approvals take a while to complete. The viewer also added that Melissa probably rather have Teresa spend her visiting hours with her daughters than take up time herself.

Melissa Gorga agreed with the viewer, responding, “exactly!

During the talk show, host Andy Cohen also read a viewer’s question asking if the Lauritas and Manzos have reached out since Teresa began her sentencing. Joe Giudice said that they have not and that the only people from The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast who have reached out is Dina Manzo, who is the godmother of their youngest daughter, and Rino Aprea, Teresa Aprea’s husband.

“No. I gotta say the only people that have reached out from the cast is, I gotta say, Dina. She has picked up her goddaughter Audriana a few times and took her to the city…calls all the time…Also, Rino. A lot. I gotta say he calls like every other week.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Dina attended Audriana’s birthday party a few weeks ago. Dina starred on the first two seasons of Real Housewives. After being away for several seasons, she returned as a starring cast member on the sixth season. It remains to be seen whether Dina Manzo will return for the seventh season, especially since, as the Inquisitr reported, her sister Caroline Manzo confirmed in August that Dina now lives in California.

In late September, E! News reported that it’s almost certain that Melissa Gorga and Jacqueline Laurita, who was a “friend” on the sixth season, are “almost certain” to return to the show. The site reported that filming for season 7 could begin as early as mid-November and will capture Teresa’s release from prison around the holidays.

Jacqueline used to be very good friends with Teresa, but that friendship deteriorated and was destroyed by the end of the fifth season. For the sixth season, she didn’t film with Teresa but did give her tearful reactions to Teresa’s sentencing news.

One viewer asked how it’s possible for Jacqueline, an avid social media user, to remain silent after Joe Giudice seemingly dissed her on Watch What Happens Live. Jacqueline responded by posting the hear no evil, see no evil, and speak no evil monkey emojis.

Caroline Manzo, who like Jacqueline Laurita, went through five seasons of Real Housewives with Teresa Giudice, has not publicly reacted to Joe Giudice’s revelation that she hasn’t reached out to him and his family since Teresa’s imprisonment.
