Meghan King Edmonds Responds To Brooks Ayers’ Legal Threats, Calls Him A ‘Loser’ On Twitter

Meghan King Edmonds isn’t afraid of Brooks Ayers’ impending lawsuit against her.

During Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Meghan King Edmonds based her story line around the possibly fake cancer diagnosis of Brooks Ayers, the former boyfriend of Meghan King Edmonds’ co-star, Vicki Gunvalson. On the show, Meghan King Edmonds did tons of research into Ayers’ treatment claims, as well as his statements about his diagnosis, and called a number of different outlets in hopes of gaining more information. During one episode, Meghan King Edmonds called both Ayers’ doctor and his ex-girlfriend. Meghan King Edmonds also called a facility in which he claimed to have had a PET-CT scan, and accused Ayers of forging medical documents.

In response to the allegations against him, many of which were made by Meghan King Edmonds, Ayers decided to reveal his medical records to Tamra Barney. However, rather than silence the criticism, Ayers’ documents only led to more questions. According to Barney, a friend of Meghan King Edmonds, she didn’t know blood cancer led to masses, and she felt confused by some of the terminology.

After filming wrapped on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 weeks ago, Ayers sent a letter of cease and desist to Meghan King Edmonds, requesting she silence her comments about his cancer diagnosis, and threatening to file a defamation lawsuit against her if she didn’t. Unfortunately for Ayers, Meghan King Edmonds has refused to stop her chatter regarding Ayers and his diagnosis, and recently claimed she had no plans to do anything of the sort.

“I am waiting patiently on my official documents that I’m being sued,” Meghan King Edmonds told People Magazine earlier this month. “I already got one letter threatening to sue if I don’t comply with his requests, including one to issue a formal public apology.”

The letter says she had to respond by this past Wednesday evening, or else Ayers and his attorney would pursue legal action. That deadline has come and gone, but Edmonds isn’t worried.

“I didn’t respond on purpose, because he’s full of crap and doesn’t have a case. So now I’m waiting to be sued. He won’t. He knows he’s a liar and he’s pissed off at me and made a feeble attempt to intimidate me into not talking. When really, it’s so ridiculous I simply laughed it off. He doesn’t have the balls to sue me.”

Meghan King Edmonds also responded to a recent tweet shared by Ayers last week, in which he told followers he would no longer be speaking of the claims against him after being advised not to by his legal counsel. Below is what Meghan King Edmonds sent to Ayers in response to his comment.

Meghan King Edmonds joined the cast of The Real Housewives of Orange County for Season 10 earlier this year, and has been causing a stir ever since. At this point, however, there have been no casting announcements made for Season 11, making her role on the show’s next season unconfirmed, as are the roles of other cast members.

For more Meghan King Edmonds, tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 finale tonight, October 12, at 9 p.m. on Bravo, and stay with Bravo until 11 p.m., when Vicki Gunvalson appears on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live.
