Jennifer Garner Is 100 Percent Not Pregnant, Rep Says

Jennifer Garner and ex Ben Affleck have made a lot of headlines lately due to their dramatic split, and it can be difficult for fans to sort out the truth from the rumors. However, one rumor that was reported on by Hollywood Life is totally false, according to Jen’s reps.

The actress has not spoken to any media outlets about the pregnancy story, but her people reportedly told Ok! Magazine that the rumors of her carrying Ben’s baby are untrue.

“This is completely false,” the magazine reported.

The rumor likely gained traction because Ben and Jennifer have been spending time together with their children so as to keep things as normal as possible for them while they go through this painful transitional period with their split. According to Hollywood Life, a source said that Ben had been spending time not just with his family on outings, but at their home.

“Ben has been spending lots of time with Jen and the kids at the family compound,” the source said.

Of course, as with any famous couple who separates, Ben and Jennifer have been the subject of a lot of scrutiny and speculation in recent months, with tabloids reporting on which one of them was still wearing their wedding ring and whether they were attending marriage counseling. Several stories point to Jennifer Garner as the one who wants to save the marriage regardless of Ben’s alleged infidelity, while others say she doesn’t want to go back down that road.

Both Ben and Jennifer have chosen to stay out of the various media stories, with no comment on his alleged affair with former nanny Christine Ouzounian. However, Ben’s best friend, Matt Damon, said back in August that he had recently seen his buddy and defended him as “misunderstood.”

“There’s nobody who’s more misunderstood. Ten years ago, the public image of him could not have been farther apart from who he actually is. It was like he was being cast in a role, that he was a talentless kind of meathead, with his whole relationship with Jennifer Lopez,” Damon said.

The actor also spoke about his own marriage, saying he thinks the idea of being bound to one person forever is crazy.

“I think marriage is insane. It’s a crazy idea but I love being married to my wife. So I wouldn’t tell anybody else about their relationship,” Damon said.

Jennifer Garner spent most of the summer months in Atlanta, filming Miracles From Heaven, with the exception of a family vacation taken with Affleck just before the couple announced their split. Since her return to L.A., Ben has reportedly been staying in a rental home right down the street from his family.

“They are working together and are keeping it amicable. This is something they have been working on for over a year – and they continue to be strong unit,” a source told People.

Sources close to the couple say they are keeping things friendly not just for their three children, but for themselves, as they still genuinely care for one another.

Post-split, Jennifer Garner has been seen out and about, both with her kids and on solo trips to the gym and out for coffee with her friends, and seems to be in good spirits. She also appeared in a cooking special with Ina Garten, which was filmed this past spring. As for Ben, he’s busy suiting up as Batman for the upcoming Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice movie, and was recently seen scouting locations for his next project, a Prohibition-era crime drama called Live By Night, which he will produce, direct, and star in.
