Gigi And Bella Hadid Feud: Sisters Fight Over Modeling Contracts

Are Gigi and Bella Hadid really feuding? That’s what several new reports claim. Apparently, the sisters who model together, fight together.

Celebrity gossip blogs are claiming that Gigi, 20, and Bella Hadid, 19, are at war over their budding modeling careers. Bella is threatening to ruin Gigi Hadid’s “It Girl” status and Instagram fame, and is attempting to steal some of her modeling gigs, according to a new report via OK! Magazine.

The tabloid claims that Gigi and Bella are feuding over their obviously different looks. Gigi has been the one who’s been taking the world by storm because of her blonde bombshell looks and curvaceous body. But now the fashion industry is interested in working with Bella because of her unique look. It also helps that she’s moving up the ranks thanks to her relationship with popular rapper The Weeknd.

“Lately, photographers have been more interested in Bella because of her more exotic look. Many believe that she is the true beauty of the two, and Gigi can’t deal with the fact that Bella might outshine her.”

Onlookers say that Bella and Gigi’s alleged feud took place at New York Fashion Week. Their fight took place during Jeremy Scott’s runway show on Sept. 15. Inside sources told the tabloid that Bella joked about Gigi’s hair, which made the blonde beauty furious. She retorted back at her little sister and claimed she “looked fat in her dress.” But Bella and Gigi looked fine when they walked during Diane von Furstenberg’s runway show.

Bella and Gigi’s feud is wearing on their family, even with their mother Yolanda Foster. The tabloid’s alleged sources say that Gigi and Bella constantly complain to their mother about each other and try to get her to side with them. Yolanda has enough on her plate with her battle with Lyme disease and her reality show, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

It’s bad enough when the media also pits the two sisters against each other. A Friday, Oct. 9, report in Hollywood Life features a fashion showdown between Bella and Hadid at the Global Lyme Alliance’s Uniting for a Lyme-Free World Inaugural Gala in New York City. Gigi wore a romantic white strapless silk gown with a bow at her waist, while Bella opted for a black long-sleeve dress with a plunging neckline.

Another report via the Daily Mail says that Gigi was upstaged by her younger sister. The British news site also went on to claim that Gigi had an edge over her younger sister since she brought along a date, her boyfriend, Joe Jonas. Despite the rumors circulating about their supposed feud, the sisters remained cordial with one another on one of the most important nights of their mother’s life. It was her first red carpet appearance in over a year because of her ongoing battle with Lyme disease.

Gigi and Bella were also seen cuddling with one another as they spoke to the media about the importance of the gala.

These sisters need to stick together for the sake of their health and their family. Yolanda Foster revealed at the event that both Anwar Hadid, 16, and Bella Hadid have also suffered from the life-crippling illness.

“When my two youngest children, Bella and Anwar, were diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease in early 2012, watching my babies struggle in silence in order to support me in my journey struck the deepest core of hopelessness inside of me.”

Yolanda was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2012 and has used her Bravo show to speak out about the tick-borne illness. She has also used social media to chronicle her battle and recovery.

Both Gigi and Bella are climbing up the ranks in the modeling world, while Anwar is just making his start in the modeling industry.
