Jackie Christie’s Skin And Hair Care Line Gets Buzz: ‘Boss-A** B****’ Star Of ‘Basketball Wives L.A.’ Going Viral
Jackie Christie has been known to call herself a “boss a** b****” on episodes of Basketball Wives: LA. Jackie continues that tradition as Christie’s new skin care and hair care line is going viral. That’s according to the Amazon company called Alexa, which tracks hot websites that are currently going viral — and updates their “What’s Hot” list every five minutes.
Jackie has long been known as the wife for former NBA player Doug Christie. Jackie and Doug gained fame when Doug still played ball for being an NBA wife who followed her husband on the road almost everywhere. Whereas other NBA wives tended to stay home and take care of the children and the things of that nature, Jackie went against the grain, refusing to leave Doug alone for long periods of time with the groupies. As a result, Jackie gained a reputation as being a bulldog, and Doug became known as kind of henpecked.
Either way, the couple has made it work, and Jackie has been seen on reality TV promoting everything from liquor to now enjoying a hair and skin care line. According to the website, Jackie’s products fight aging.
On Instagram, Jackie promotes her love of reading, giving writers all sorts of good publicity with her 213,000 followers. On BBWLA, Christie bemoans the fact that she feels her co-stars always place the blame on her for one transgression or another. Her co-stars, on the other hand, always speak about Jackie being a troublemaker who’s too old to act so immaturely. Either way, it makes for good TV.
Jackie appears to be continuing to do what most reality TV stars do when they get an opportunity to promote a product or platform. Christie’s skin and hair care line joins other products that reality TV stars have promoted, which usually include pop-up fashion stores, weave hairlines, make-up lines, and more.
With Jackie being a woman of a certain age, it makes sense that Christie would promote a skin care line that fights aging. As far as Jackie’s fashions, she’s often teased for the wild type of clothing that Christie prefers to wear on the reality TV show. Jackie has also been seen working out with her husband Doug since Christie also often speaks about wanting to get in shape.
Either way, Jackie’s co-star Draya Michele has promoted her own products, including a swimwear line, and Draya just might be done with folks like Christie. Draya hasn’t appeared on recent episodes of the show with Jackie or any of the women. When Christie first met Draya, as the happy and pretty Michele bounced with a big breast-implanted bosom over to the group to meet the ladies, they’d already decided they didn’t like her upon first sight. A whirlwind of fights ensued, along with businesses.
