Chris Soules Says He’s Great Friends With Whitney Bischoff, Comments On Becca Tilley Possibly Going For Ben Higgins

Despite their romantic relationship not working out, Chris Soules has no hard feelings toward ex-fiancee Whitney Bischoff. According to him, not only are they amicable towards one another, they’re actually great friends. In an interview with OK! Magazine, posted on Thursday, Chris talked about his current relationship with Whitney. He also commented on the reports that the woman who came second behind Whitney for his heart on The Bachelor, Becca Tilley, has returned to the show in pursuit of the new bachelor, Ben Higgins.

Chris, whose engagement to Whitney ended after a few months, said that he’s “great friends” with Whitney.

“We’re still friends, great friends. I’m happy for her. She’s had a lot of success after the show. And she just went out for a glass of wine with my sister the other night. We went through a really crazy thing and I’m lucky to have her in my life as a friend as a result.”

Whitney certainly seems to be loving life. Two weeks ago, she attended a red carpet fashion event.

So if they get along so great, why exactly did they break up? Chris wouldn’t comment on why they decided that they couldn’t be with one another anymore, saying that it wasn’t fair for him to talk about it without Whitney there.

“We had an amicable separation and Whitney and I talk…if we were to divulge any details…we’ll be sitting here next to each other talking about it, because I think it’s only appropriate. We got into a relationship together and I don’t feel like it’s appropriate for me to talk abut things that happened in our relationship when she’s not here.”

While Chris wouldn’t go into detail about his break up with Whitney, he did reveal that he had the chance to give Ben, who is currently filming The Bachelor, some advice prior to filming. Chris said that he told Ben to speak from the heart, give every relationship a shot, and focus on the moment rather than letting outside drama interfere. Chris added that he feels that he did those three things when he was the bachelor, which is why he has “no regrets” on how he handled his own experience.

As for the reports that Becca Tilley joined the cast of women going after Ben, Chris Soules admitted that the show is good at throwing twists in. He added that if it’s true that Becca has joined the show again, good for her and good for Ben Higgins.

“If that’s a fact, good for her and good for Ben.”

Whitney Bischoff is also supportive of Becca going after Ben Higgins. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, right after it was announced that Ben is the next bachelor, Becca tweeted that Ben is just the man she’s looking for. Whitney predicted that if Becca does go after Ben, they’ll be married in a year.

Since his engagement to Whitney Bischoff didn’t work out, will Chris, like Becca Tilley, return to the franchise in hopes of finding love again, perhaps on The Bachelorette or the spin-off Bachelor in Paradise? Chris said that he thinks his days of dating on TV are done.

“I don’t think I have much of a future in dating on television again. I’m grateful for the opportunity I had and I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m okay with dating in the real world from now on.”

Although Chris seems to have given up on finding love on TV, he seems to still like being in front of the camera. After The Bachelorette and The Bachelor, he competed on Dancing with the Stars, for which he was partnered with Witney Carson. Most recently, he was seen on Food Network’s Worst Cooks in America. Two weeks ago, Chris tweeted that being on the cooking show shared some similarity to being on the dance competition.

Unfortunately for Chris Soules’ fans who were hoping to see him cook for a while, he was eliminated on last Wednesday’s episode. Although he got sent home, he did earn $5,000 for his chosen charity, Feeding America.
