Ellen DeGeneres Shoots Down Kim Kardashian Diva Rumors: ‘She Could Not Be Nicer’ [Video]

Ellen DeGeneres is defending Kim Kardashian against rumors that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was a complete diva on her show.

Ellen denied her claims during her monologue on her Thursday show.

“There are rumors floating around that [Kardashian] was very difficult while she was here, and that is flat out not true,” DeGeneres said. “I do not understand how people keep making up stories and can print it in magazines.”

By magazines, Ellen is probably referring to a story that first ran in Radar Online which said that Kim Kardashian was a complete diva on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

“It’s no secret that Keeping up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian can be quite the diva!,” the story on Radar Online said. ”

“But when the pregnant mom and her 2-year-old daughter from rapper Kanye West went to tape an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show earlier this week, a source close to production for the talk show tells RadarOnline.com that Kardashian was so over-the-top, ‘Ellen herself was surprised!'”

The Radar Online “source” said that Kim was late to the taping and arrived with 20 people when she got there. They also said that North West’s mom requested three different rooms for her team and she made sure to demand that all of the rooms was “stocked up” with refreshments.

But Ellen has a different story.

“Guest from hell? That’s Betty White,” Ellen quipped during her monologue. “She was nothing but gracious and sweet while she was here. Thank you, Kim.”

Ellen’s kind words for Kim coincides with what a source told Gossip Cop when they refuted the Kim Kardashian rumors.

The source told Gossip Cop that Kim was actually not late at all and when she arrived, she came with her hairstylist, stylist, and a nanny for her daughter, North West. So, nowhere near to the 20 people that Radar Online said that she brought. She also never changed outfits — not even once, let alone three times.

According to Gossip Cop, a rep for Kardashian said that Radar Online’s claims were a “bunch of garbage.”

Ellen mocked the tabloids for saying that Kim’s actions were “over the top.”

“Kim was not over the top, and if you look at her book, Kim doesn’t wear tops. Hardly ever,” Ellen joked. “Truly, she could not be nicer. She was lovely.”

Radar Online is also the media outlet that said that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were getting a divorce as soon as she gave birth to her son. But that story was disproved as well.

Kim Kardashian is probably too busy preparing for the arrival of her new baby with Kanye to be concerned about rumors about her being a diva.

The voluptuous reality star recently said though that she hates being pregnant. Kim Kardashian recently disclosed in a blog post on her website that she hates being pregnant and that it’s the worst experience of her life.

“I’m gonna keep it real: For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life! LOL,” Kim wrote. “I don’t enjoy one moment of it and I don’t understand people who enjoy it. My mom and Kourtney [Kardashian] clearly did! More power to them but I just don’t relate!”

Kim outlined all the reasons why she hates being pregnant and the list includes “the backaches,” “the swelling,” or the “complet mindf**k of how your body expands.”

“People just don’t tell you all of the gross things that happen during pregnancy or after,” she added. “Do you know you basically have to wear a diaper for two months afterwards?! LOL! No one told me that! #SoSexy.”

But she says she doesn’t hate everything about being pregnant. Kim Kardashian maintains that all of the stress of pregnancy is worth it because at the end of it all you have a baby to show for it.

“Really, it is all SO worth it when you have your precious baby in the end! So for all my complaining, it’s 100 percent worth it and more!”
