‘Real Housewives’ Star Teresa Giudice Wants Out: Makes $1 For Wiping Tables

The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice is nearing the end of her prison term, and she can look forward to coming home to her family. Teresa turned herself in shortly after Christmas, and she has been locked up since January. Her family is excited to see her return home soon, and Giudice is excited to come home. Real Housewives fans will get to see how she is doing this upcoming weekend, as Bravo airs a special about her called The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In.

However, Real Housewives fans won’t get to see Teresa behind bars. Bravo can’t film inside the jail, so they have captured her phone calls with her husband in their New Jersey home. Clearly, this Real Housewives star just wants to come home to her family. Joe has been promoting this show, so he recently sat down with various media outlets. And as it turns out, Giudice is miserable behind bars.

According to a new Radar Online report, The Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice wants to come home to her family. She is making a few dollars per week by cleaning up after the other prisoners.

“[Teresa is] holding up. I can’t say she’s doing great but she looks good,” Joe Giudice recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, adding, “She keeps her spirits up and tries to make us feel like she’s OK, but she’s really not. She wants to be home.”

Of course, Teresa was rumored to be the highest-paid star with a $750,000 per season, but most of that money was going to paying off their debt and restitution. However in jail, she keeps to herself, reads a few emails and books, and does her job.

“She says she’s got an easy job, she likes it, she doesn’t want to change,” Joe revealed, adding, “I think she wipes down a couple tables a day. She’s done within three minutes and that’s her job. I think she’s making a dollar a day.”

Every weekend, Teresa’s family goes to see the Real Housewives star behind bars. And the emotions are mixed. While Gia understands that it will be a few months until she comes home, Milania cries and wants her mother to come home.

“Whenever we get there, Milania is just like, ‘Mommy why can’t you just come home? Why don’t you just get up and leave?’ and Teresa is like, ‘Soon baby soon,'” Joe said, adding, “Audriana doesn’t really say much about it but she cries sometimes. In the beginning, she used to cry and now she’s getting kind of used to it. Now she just goes, does her thing, plays with the other kids, and then we just go home… I’m sure it’s killing my wife when we all leave.”

But this Real Housewives of New Jersey star isn’t wasting her time behind bars. She is apparently working out and reading a lot. It sounds like she just wants time to pass so she can go home to her family. And there might be a lot waiting for her when she is released. Bravo and her lawyer are supposedly working on a deal for her to return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. It is possible that she wants to bond with her family a bit after being released, especially since Joe is heading to jail after her, but Bravo may want to capture the raw emotions and be there when she is released.

What do you think of Teresa Guidice’s job behind bars? Do you think she will return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey?
