Viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will apparently see Kyle Richards and Yolanda Foster take a trip to New York City on the upcoming sixth season. On Tuesday, Kyle posted a photo of herself with Yolanda on a private plane heading to the Big Apple. On the plane with them were three other women, two of whom are reported to be the show’s new cast members for season 6: Kathryn Edwards and Erika Jayne.
It seems that so far along in filming, Kyle is getting along well with the reported two new cast members and returning cast member Yolanda. Kyle’s comment for the photo included the hashtag “#squad.”
Many people commented on Kyle’s photo to say how good Yolanda, who is currently battling Lyme disease, looks, especially with her new short hair. Four days ago, Yolanda posted a photo of herself getting a haircut from celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillan. Yolanda, who previously had a chin-length bob, commented that she’s going back to her old self.
Viewers are likely to see a much more natural-looking Yolanda on the sixth season. As E! News reported, Yolanda revealed in mid-August that doctors had discovered that silicone was leaking from old breast implants. After taking the implants out, Yolanda vowed to go more natural. She shared via social media that she, in a bid to avoid any toxins, won’t be getting implants, Botox, hair extensions, hair highlights, and nail polish.
“Forced to honor my authentic self and respectfully own it!!! #MyHealthJourney #SearchingForaCure”
It seems that one thing Yolanda Foster will be doing during her current trip to New York City is raising awareness for Lyme disease. She posted a photo of a flyer advertising her presence at a Lyme disease awareness event.
In late September, E! News reported that Kathryn Edwards, who is married to retired NFL player Donnie Edwards, and Erika Jayne, a singer who is married to attorney Thomas V. Girardi, have joined the cast, replacing Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville.
In an interview with Radar Online on Sunday, Lisa Vanderpump, who has been with the show since the very first season, talked about what viewers can expect on the sixth season.
“It’s going to be a lot different in Season 6 because of the cast changes. Already lots of different types of dynamics are coming into play, as well as all new arguments caused by differences of opinion.”
Lisa hinted that while she and Kyle are currently good, drama from the past resurface between them. Lisa also talked about the departure of Kim.
“Kyle and I have been in a good space for a long time. I love and adore her and it’s been a difficult journey for her. I support her, but there is still residue from the dynamics and the way things changed. Then you start filming again and old conversations get brought up. That’s life, isn’t it? Having Kim gone is different, but there are other dynamics and now there are other differences of opinion to keep it interesting.”
On season 4 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa felt as if Kyle joined the other housewives, in particular Brandi, in ganging up on her. While Lisa eventually forgave Kyle, she didn’t forgive Brandi, who made public comments that claimed that Lisa and her husband, Ken Todd, was once filing for bankruptcy and lived in the San Fernando Valley city of Calabasas. At the beginning of season 5, Kyle was seen making a phone call to Lisa while hiking with Brandi, in an attempt to start their reconciliation. Yet by the end of season 5, Kyle and Brandi were at each other’s necks, largely because of their fight over Kim. Lisa supported Kyle as she fought with Brandi.
Will viewers see the cast talk about or even mention Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville on season 6 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Perhaps Yolanda Foster will be shown telling Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and the rest of the cast about the lunch that she had with Kim and Brandi a few weeks ago? Brandi posted a photo of the three of them at lunch to celebrate Kim’s 51st birthday.
