Rosie O’Donnell’s Estranged Daughter Tells All About Life At Home
Chelsea O’Donnell, estranged daughter of former talk show host Rosie O’Donnell, gave an explosive interview that is shattering her celebrity mother. Chelsea says she never ran away, but was kicked out of the house just shy of her 18th birthday. If Chelsea’s allegations are true, then Rosie O’Donnell has a lot to answer for.
NJ is reporting that Chelsea O’Donnell is making quite a few allegations that sound like straight up child abuse.
“Chelsea O’Donnell told the Daily Mail her mother kicked her out of the house two weeks before her 18th birthday. The extensive, exclusive interview isn’t flattering toward the TV personality, including a claim that she paints while blasting Madonna and smoking weed.”
Chelsea O’Donnell also says that all of her mother’s comments on social media about how Chelsea was missing were untrue.

The Daily Mail is reporting that in an interview, Chelsea said that her mother, Rosie O’Donnell is “a phony.”
“I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When we’d go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that. It’s like two different people.”
Chelsea is also angry that O’Donnell told the public and the police that she was mentally ill, a label that Chelsea rejects. She also says that despite all of O’Donnell’s talk about family, Chelsea and her siblings have largely been raised by nannies.
Currently, Chelsea is living with her biological mother, who gave her up as an infant, preferring to be with her than someone she deems as a phony.
“I feel she should be her real self, who she really is. She has this public persona; she will put this big smile on her face and try to be funny. She would always go up to people and want to hold their babies in public. She had this happy, friendly side to her.Whereas when we were home, even if it was on the same day, she would either just be in her room, not engaging with us, or watching documentaries.”
Chelsea claims that O’Donnell has a short fuse, and yells at all of her children on a regular basis, and only feeds them pizza or carry-out Chinese food. The house is always filled with marijuana smoke.

Entertainment Tonight is reporting the Rosie O’Donnell is allegedly heartbroken over her daughter’s interview with the press. O’Donnell said that Chelsea’s interview is “heartbreaking on every level” and refutes that she kicked Chelsea out of the house. Chelsea says that O’Donnell reported Chelsea missing because “people were asking questions, and she [O’Donnell] didn’t want to look like a bad parent.”
People Magazine is revealing that O’Donnell is more sad than mad about Chelsea’s revelations like O’Donnell was a neglectful parent who put her out of the house twice, once, when O’Donnell said Chelsea ran away, and then, right after the police located her in South Jersey. Chelsea also said that she is not mentally ill, but has been depressed and anxious since the breakdown of O’Donnell’s various relationships that have largely left herself and siblings with caretakers.
