Meghan King Edmonds On Brooks’ Cancer: ‘All Of This Evidence Is Adding Up Against Them’

Meghan King Edmonds wasn’t out to hurt Vicki Gunvalson or Brooks Ayers when she started filming The Real Housewives of Orange County. Meghan simply listened to what they had to say, and she quickly learned that the information wasn’t matching up to her experiences with cancer. While King Edmonds doesn’t have cancer herself, she was a big support system for Jimmy Edmonds’ ex-wife, who was fighting cancer. She lost her battle this summer, but Meghan knows a lot more about cancer than Brooks may have realized.

Meghan King Edmonds started questioning his stories and added up all of his stories, information, and potential lies. And Edmonds didn’t believe he had cancer. Not only was he drinking and traveling while having cancer, but he also stopped his chemotherapy treatments because he claimed something wasn’t working. Plus, he shut down any help to get appointments with doctors who could possibly treat him.

According to a new report, Meghan King Edmonds is now revealing that she is shocked Vicki and Brooks continue to defend his illness, considering there is so much evidence stacking up against them.

“Onto Vicki and Brooks… it blows my mind that Vicki continues to relentlessly defend herself and Brooks. She said, ‘you can’t fix stupid’ when referring to me and the girls talking about Brooks and his cancer, which is quite an ironic statement. All of the evidence is there, yet she’s completely throwing religion in our faces as if we are bad people. How can she possibly keep portraying herself as a victim when all of this evidence is adding up against them? It’s truly the opposite of what she claims Christianity to be. Just something to think about,” Meghan King Edmonds reveals in her blog.

Of course, the evidence she is pointing to includes his lack of treatments, including chemotherapy, his stories not matching up, him supposedly trying new treatment products that are used in beauty products, him asking Tamra Barney to read over the medical records rather than someone with experience, and finally Vicki Gunvalson’s stories not matching up. One day she said she went to his appointments, while another day she said she hadn’t.

Even though Meghan King Edmonds has been very persistent in her belief that Brooks is lying, she has tried to bond with her step-daughter Hayley. Throughout the season, she didn’t know whether to play the mother role or be a friend. But it sounds like Edmonds has found a happy medium.

“The facial that I did with Haley was a lot of fun and such a good bonding experience. I love when we get the chance to have fun step-mommy/daughter moments like that. I’m sad that she didn’t come to the baptism with me, but I also know what it’s like to be a young girl and have better things come up instead of hanging out with your parents – or stepparent in this case,” Meghan reveals, especially now that Hayley has lost her mother to cancer.

One can imagine that it was a devastating loss when Hayley lost her mother. These days, Meghan King Edmonds and her husband Jimmy are spending time together, so they don’t end up as a statistic in the Orange County divorce rate.

“As I write this, I’m actually relaxing on the beach, on a much need romantic getaway with my husband in Cabo! It is beautiful here and it’s so nice to have time together – just the two of us, no friends, no family, and no distractions! After all my traveling lately, with my trip to Cambodia and filming the reunion, Cabo is just what I needed,” Meghan reveals, hinting that a divorce isn’t on the horizon.
