Is Corey Simms’ Wife Miranda Being Made To Look Like A ‘Wicked Witch’ By Leah Messer On ‘Teen Mom 2?’

Corey Simms and his wife, Miranda, have received a lot of backlash due to their actions against Leah Messer on Season 6 of Teen Mom 2. Throughout filming, Messer exhibited some strange behavior, including odd parenting choices and an incident in which she appeared to nearly nod out while holding a baby, and according to Corey Simms and Miranda, it was the result of Messer’s secret drug problem.

In addition to accusing Messer of hiding her alleged issues with addiction, Corey Simms and his wife took action against her, fighting for custody of their twins, and reportedly threatening to take custody while Messer was in treatment.

Corey Simms was then seen meeting with Messer’s other ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert, after their divorce was finalized this past July. During their chat, Calvert claimed Messer was struggling with a “prescription pill problem,” and Corey Simms alleged he was living in fear that something bad could happen to their twin girls, Ali and Aleeah, 5, due to Messer’s rumored drug use.

As the sixth season of Teen Mom 2 continued, Corey Simms was seen chatting with his wife, Miranda, who expressed her doubt in Messer changing after treatment, and called out the mother of three for not having respect for her both as Corey Simms’ wife, and the stepmother of their twins.

Midway through Season 6, Miranda, who, along with Corey Simms, was faced with criticism from Messer’s fans online, made her Twitter account private so that fans could not see what she was saying. However, according to an October 6 report by Starcasm, Corey Simms’ wife recently spoke out against the show, and possibly against Messer, claiming she’s been portrayed as a “wicked witch” on the show.

“If not putting up with people’s bulls**t makes me a wicked witch then so be it. At least myself and my family are happy and blessed,” Corey Simms’ wife wrote.

Then, in a second tweet, Miranda added, “I wasn’t mean I was honest and spoke my concerns just like everyone else. I never attacked anyone.”

Corey Simms and his wife, in addition to Calvert, expressed their concern for Messer and her alleged drug issue all season long, but throughout filming, Messer continued to deny claims, stating her issues were that of anxiety and depression, not drugs.

As Messer continues to fight back against drug rumors, she’s causes a stir with fans due to comments made during filming on the Teen Mom 2 reunion. While sitting with Corey Simms and host Dr. Drew Pinksy, Messer hinted Corey Simms had cheated on his wife in the early months of their relationship. While Messer doesn’t come right out and say Corey Simms cheated, as has been reported, she suggests he was hiding something from wife Miranda.

Also during the reunion special, Corey Simms claims if he had done what Messer has, he would never even see his kids, although it is unclear what he was referring to. As soon as Corey Simms began talking about Messer’s mystery issue, she yelled “Monkey,” and Dr. Drew Pinsky informed Corey Simms and the crowd that Messer had refused to discuss certain things during production.

Corey Simms and his wife Miranda are currently expecting their first child.

For more of Corey Simms, his wife, Miranda, and Leah Messer, tune into the second half of the Teen Mom 2 Season 6 reunion tonight, October 7, at 9 p.m. on MTV.
