‘Teen Mom 2’: Jo Rivera, Vee Torres Welcome New Baby Girl To The Family

The Teen Mom 2 family just keeps on growing! On Sunday, October 4, 2015, Teen Mom 2 dad Jo Rivera welcomed his second child into the world, this time with long time girlfriend Vee Torres.

Teen Mom 2 has seen quite the baby boom as of late. This season alone, fans have seen the announcement of two new babies, let alone the three additions to the original Teen Mom 2 baby cast. Let’s start from the beginning.

When Teen Mom 2 first aired back in January 2011, we had four moms and their babies’ daddies. The original cast primarily was made up of Leah Messer, Jenelle Evans, Chelsea Houska, and Kailyn Lowry.

At the time, Leah was with Corey Simms, Chelsea was on-again-off-again with Adam Lind, Kailyn was with Jo Rivera, and Jenelle was either seeing a slew of guys or just partying by herself. Then, of course, we can’t forget the original Teen Mom 2 cast of babies. There were Leah’s twins, Ali and Aleeah, Chelsea’s baby girl Aubree, Kailyn’s boy Isaac, and Jenelle’s little man, Jace.

The Teen Mom 2 girls have all gone through quite a few trials throughout their years on the show, including multiple divorces, court appearances, baby daddy drama, rehab, and even domestic violence, but that doesn’t mean that they each haven’t grown in their own ways.

During Season 6 of MTV’s hit show, fans get to see more of the newest editions to the Teen Mom 2 cast, which included Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, Kailyn’s youngest boy, Lincoln, and, of course, Leah’s youngest baby girl, Addalyn. Fans always love to see where the children are, especially given all the drama their parents go through each and every season. One thing that never get’s old is seeing their reaction when it comes to announcing that they are going to be big brother’s and/or big sisters!

On Season 6 of Teen Mom 2, both Corey Simms’ wife, Miranda Patterson, and Jo Rivera’s girlfriend, Vee Torres, announced that they were pregnant. While Miranda kept the pregnancy news pretty low key, for the most part, Vee’s pregnancy was a more constant factor into the show.

Once news broke that Vee was pregnant, that became a big factor in whether or not Kailyn would take Jo to court for more child support. While Kailyn stated time and time again that Vee’s pregnancy was none of her business, when it came to discussing money issues between Vee and Jo, Vee can be seen breaking down, claiming that Kailyn needed to “give them a break.”

It was stated on the Teen Mom 2 reunion special that Kailyn ultimately decided against taking Jo to court on child support, which must have been a huge relief for Vee, considering on the show she said there were no issues between her and Kailyn. According to Us Weekly, Vee even went so far as to acknowledge that Kailyn had no hard feelings towards her or her unborn child, stating that “people were making it seem like she [Kailyn] was like, ‘I don’t want to f**king deal with her baby!'”

With the latest season all wrapped up, it was a bit of a surprise when headlines started saying that Vee and Jo welcomed their first child into the world. According to Hollywood Life, on October 4, 2015, Jo and Vee welcomed their baby girl into the world, and on Monday, October 5, Vee took to Facebook to post a few photos and a little thank you to all her family, friends, and fans for all their love, support, and help in welcoming baby Velisse (Vivi) to the world!
