Briana Culberson Defends Herself Against ‘Spoiled Brat’ Allegations On Instagram As Vicki Gunvalson Moves On From ‘RHOC?’

Briana Culberson, daughter of Vicki Gunvalson, is often seen on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Unfortunately, that often means she’s faced with criticism from fans. In the comment section of a recent post shared on Instagram by Gunvalson, Briana Culberson was accused of being spoiled.

After Gunvalson shared a photo of herself and Briana Culberson at the Season 10 reunion special, along with host Andy Cohen, Briana Culberson was forced to defend herself against fans who claimed she was spoiled.

“How am I a spoiled brat? Spoiled? I’ve been financially independent since I became an ER RN 21 years old. Became a homeowner with my husband at 26 years old. I haven’t taken a penny from anyone in YEARS. She bought me a car which I wrote a huge check for to reimburse her for some of it. I don’t like seeing my mom in an abusive relationship. You don’t see everything on the show. There is a LOT more to our family than is shown on tv for a few minutes an episode. My mom is my best friend and I don’t appreciate your rude comment.”

Briana Culberson has been vocal in recent years in regard to her feeling towards Brooks Ayers, her mother’s on-again, off-again boyfriend. Since the couple’s relationship debuted on The Real Housewives of Orange County, Briana Culberson has questioned Ayers’ motives and slammed him for making outrageous comments to her husband, Ryan Culberson. As seen on a previous season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Ayers was caught on tape threatening to physically abuse Gunvalson and suggesting Briana Culberson’s husband do the same to her. It was a shocking moment played for fans during a reunion special. Understandably, Briana Culberson was disgusted by the comments and when confronting him at the reunion, she slammed him for failing to apologize for his outrageous statements.

Despite Ayers’ comments to Briana Culberson’s cousin, Gunvalson remained in the relationship until this past August, when she announced to fans on Facebook that they were no longer dating and had called it quits on their romance after four years together.

Throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Briana Culberson’s mother has been faced with a number of harsh issues, including the death of her mother, and the allegations of Ayers faking his stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma diagnosis. Gunvalson has also dealt with a number of fallouts with her co-stars. In addition to feuding for the majority of the season with new cast member, Meghan King Edmonds, Gunvalson’s friends, Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, and Tamra Barney all raised questions about Ayers’ cancer diagnosis.

Following filming, there have been rumors swirling regarding Briana Culberson’s mom possibly quitting the show, but at this point, nothing has been made official.

On October 3, while enjoying a detox retreat in Southern California, Briana Culberson’s mother posted a message on Instagram, along with a photo of herself running through the mountains.

“Beautiful hike in the mountains of Santa Barbara #detox #healthyliving #nomorestress #GODISINCONTROL #family #truefriendships #success #mybossbabes!”

Briana Culberson’s mother took to Twitter after filming the reunion special last Thursday, and in a post on Instagram, Gunvalson claimed to be ready to “move on to a bigger and brighter future.”

For more Briana Culberson, tune into tonight’s new episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 at 9 p.m. on Bravo. During the show, Briana Culberson will be seen meeting with Barney.
