No, Kate Middleton, Prince William Are Not Heading For Divorce, Duchess To Charm China At State Dinner
Rumors that Kate Middleton and Prince William are heading for a divorce have immediately been dismissed by the revelation that the Duchess and Duke of Cambridge will be attending numerous events together over the next few weeks, including a state dinner at Buckingham Palace.
Celebrity Dirty Laundry had previously insisted that Kate Middleton and Prince William had endured a tumultuous summer after the birth of Princess Charlotte back in May. Middleton hadn’t been seen in public for several months until a few weeks ago.
It’s now been alleged that Middleton only returned to public engagements and appearances after just four months of maternity leave at the behest of Queen Elizabeth, who asked and urged them to attend several events alongside each other.
Most recently, Prince William and Kate Middleton were seen at the Rugby World Cup encounter between England and Wales at the end of last month. During this appearance, you could see the husband and wife team partaking in various public displays of affection as he hugged her, all while Prince Harry sat alongside them.
This was particularly harrowing for Harry, who is the president for the English Rugby Union, as Wales, whose own president is Harry’s older brother, Prince William, won the encounter.
However, despite the fact that William and Middleton looked completely loved-up in the photos that emerged, Celebrity Dirty Laundry insisted that the pair actually had a torrid time together there.
They reported that Prince William didn’t appear to have any interest in speaking to his wife, while Kate Middleton responded by simply plastering a fake smile on her face, just in case the cameras were on them.
The website even explained why Prince William allegedly didn’t engage in any discussions with Middleton, insisting, “Wills wasn’t giving in to Kate’s attempts at showing off for the world — he’s sick and tired of pretending there are no cracks in his marriage.”
The rocky condition of the pair’s relationship was even compared to last months of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage. Charles and Diana, who are Prince William and Prince Harry’s mother and father, even took part in a particularly awkward official royal trip in November, 1992, just a few short weeks before their separation was announced in December, 1992.
However, rumors that Kate Middleton and Prince William are about to divorce have been rather undermined by the fact that the royal couple have got two rather prestigious events coming up over the next few weeks, which they will both be attending together.
The first of these will see Kate Middleton and Prince William attend a conference for World Mental Health Day on October 10 at Harrow College.
This was confirmed last week by Paul Farmer, the CEO of Mind, via IB Times, “We are delighted that the Duke and Duchess Of Cambridge will be joining Mind to celebrate this year’s World Mental Health Day.”
At this event, the pair will learn about a new project from Mindkit, which is designed to educate young individuals on emotional health and resilience. They will also discuss Time To Change, a new campaign that will look to break the stigma of talking about mental health issues.
Kate Middleton and Prince William will then follow that up with a special state dinner at Buckingham Palace for Xi Jinping, the president of China.
A royal source has confirmed to the Daily Mail, “Catherine will be there. The state visit is a result of the invitation that William made when he visited China earlier this year.” Over the last few years, Prince William has developed a good relationship with China as he bids for them to help him stop illegal wildlife trading.
