Tom Cruise Might Have Missed His Daughter’s Wedding, But For A Very Fatherly Reason [Rumor & Update]

Reports from Australia have alleged that Tom Cruise’s daughter, Isabella Cruise, has got married to her partner, Max Parker, at a small and intimate ceremony in Central London.

According to Woman’s Day, the pair exchanged vows at The Dorchester Hotel on September 18. In fact, the ceremony was so small that only a close group of the pair’s friends and family were in attendance.

Perez Hilton have reported that this included several of the 22-year-old’s fellow classmates from her studies at Vidal Sassoon Academy, the cosmetology school that she attended and graduated from recently. Four of these close friends acted as Isabella’s bridesmaids.

Meanwhile, Isabella’s mother, Nicole Kidman, who adopted Isabella back in 1993 with Tom Cruise, was also present, as she is currently performing in a play on London’s famous West End. Kidman is starring in Photograph 51, a play about Rosalind Franklin, the female scientist who helped to discover DNA.

However, Isabella Cruise’s father wasn’t present. But rather than this being because he couldn’t find the time to be present for the most important day of his daughter’s life, the 53-year-old actor did so for a rather fatherly reason.

According to Fox News, the magazine have reported that Isabella, who is fiercely protective of her privacy, asked Tom Cruise not to attend because she didn’t want to expose the wedding to the press and having details leak just a few short hours before she said “I do.” Tom Cruise decided to oblige with his daughter’s request, and thus missed out on her very special day.

Like her father, Bella is also a practicing Scientologist.

Further details regarding the wedding attire that both of them wore on their special day have also emerged. It’s believed that she wore a thigh-high lace dress that was sleeved, while Isabella asked for her bridesmaids to wear pale pink jumpsuits.

Meanwhile, it’s believed that Isabella Cruise has already changed her surname, and is now known as Isabella Parker.

Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman, who married on December 24, 1990, adopted Isabella in 1993, before they then adopted Connor Anthony in 1995. However, when the couple divorced in 2001, both Isabella and Connor decided to live with the Mission: Impossible actor instead.

UPDATE: It’s now been alleged that neither Tom Cruise, Connor Cruise, or Nicole Kidman attended Isabella Cruise’s wedding to Max Parker at the small ceremony at Dorchester Hotel.
