Orange County Feud: ‘RHOC’ Stars Shannon Beador And Vicki Gunvalson Aren’t Feuding Over Brooks Ayers

Orange County housewives Shannon Beador and Vicki Gunvalson used to be close friends. However, after filming The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10, the two were reportedly at odds. After the Los Angeles taping took place, rumors swirled, claiming the Orange County ladies were no longer speaking, but according to a new report, Beador and Gunvalson’s relationship is doing much better than the press has led on. In addition, the brief dispute between the Orange County reality stars had nothing to do with Gunvalson’s ex-boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, as sources previously alleged.

Below is what a source told Radar Online of the Orange County reality star on October 4.

“Shannon and Vicki are totally on speaking terms and Shannon knows the real reason that Vicki has a resentment towards her. And it has nothing to do with Brooks. Basically, Vicki told Shannon that when David cheated on her, although she didn’t agree with her choice to work it out in the beginning, she stood by her and supported her because that is what girlfriends do. Vicki even stuck up for Shannon to the others on and off-camera, but when Vicki became the target of the other women, Shannon did not and this hurt Vicki because she expected the same support.”

Radar Online‘s source continued on, claiming the Real Housewives of Orange County co-stars have made amends since their temporary falling out. According to the source, Beador apologized to Gunvalson for not having her back, and even claimed she didn’t care if Ayers was lying about his cancer, as some of their Orange County co-stars have suggested. Instead, Beador is reportedly just happy that Gunvalson has since removed Ayers, who Beador allegedly felt was “dragging her down,” from her life.

Radar Online‘s source wrapped saying that the Orange County housewives, regardless of what their relationship may or may not be, will both be asked to return to The Real Housewives of Orange County if the series returns to Bravo for an 11th season.

In addition to her alleged feud with Gunvalson, Orange County’s Shannon Beador dealt with the fallout from David’s affair throughout the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. During Episode 1, Beador shared news of her husband’s affair with fans, but revealed she had chosen to continue on with her marriage, and seek therapy to mend their relationship.

Also on the show, the Orange County housewives gave details about her interaction with David’s mistress, claiming the women signed one of her children up to an activity which was also attended by one of the Beador’s children — and coached by her husband, David. And as if that weren’t invasive enough, the woman actually attempted to befriend Beador months after her affair with David.

Since filming the Orange County reality show, Beador and her husband have attended a marriage retreat, as well as many therapy sessions, and have since gotten their relationship to a much better place — even better than it was before the affair. Nowadays, Beador and David enjoy spending time together with their three children, and are often seen enjoying date nights with one another.

For more of Shannon Beador and the rest of the cast, tune into The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 on Monday nights at 9 p.m. on Bravo. A premiere date for the upcoming reunion special has not yet been officially announced.
