DramaFever Reveals Round Three Of ‘The Power Of Three’ Contest — Watch K-Movies For A Chance To Win A Trip To Korea

Earlier this month, it was reported that streaming site DramaFever was giving their members a chance to win a free vacation to Korea. Much to the delight of many fans of Korean entertainment, especially those who love their K-dramas and K-movies, this was a chance of a lifetime. Ergo, the contest known as “The Power of Three” received much attention with a sudden uptick of membership sign-ups.

Now, to be fair, the contest does have conditions that need to be met, along with certain regulations. First and foremost, only premium members on DramaFever could participate. True, the site allows K-dramas and K-movies to be viewed for free with commercials (ads) along with a free account, but rules now state only those who are paying for a subscription qualify. There are three paid options (can have few/no ads, hi-def, early access to shows, access to all shows, and other perks) and to be frank, it isn’t bad at all, since the first option starts at 99 cents a month. That’s cheaper than a Hulu Plus account or Netflix membership. Besides having a premium account, three single-question surveys must be answered correctly for one entry into the contest. There will be a total of six movies in “The Power of Three,” so up to two entries can be submitted. The contest, unfortunately, is only available to those who live in the United States.

Three grand prize winners will be selected on October 23, 2015. They will each receive a round-trip coach class airfare ticket for themselves and their plus one from the nearest major airport to Seoul, Korea, and $300 spending money. The approximate value per winner is about $3,300.

For those who want to see a complete set of contest rules, regulations, conditions, and other details, DramaFever did provide a page that shows such on their Official Sweepstakes Rules.

Power of Three - Round Three
DramaFever presents the fifth and sixth movies within their “Power of Three” Contest. They are Love Forecast and Grow: Infinite’s Real Youth Life.

Now that all legalities are explained, Round 3 of “The Power of Three” has been revealed, adding two more movies to the four already listed. They are Love Forecast and Grow: Infinite’s Real Youth Life, as revealed by DramaFever on Saturday, October 3, 2015. They join Miss Granny and Tazza 2, which were revealed when “The Power of Three” contest was initially announced on Saturday, September 19, 2015, and A Moment To Remember and Twenty, which were revealed on September 26, 2015.

The first K-movie listed in Round 3 is Love Forecast, which stars Korean actor and singer Lee Seung Gi (The King of Hearts 2, You’re All Surrounded) and Korean actress Moon Chae Won (Painter of the Wind, The Princess’ Man).

Weather reporter Kim Hyun Woo (Moon Chae Won) is known for her beauty and elegance on television. However, when she is not on screen, she is a swearing alcoholic. Despite this, Kang Joon Soo (Lee Seung Gi) — a mild-mannered elementary school teacher who’s been Hyun Woo’s friend for 18 years, secretly loves her. Now, Joon Soo has to stand by and watch Hyun Woo fawn over married colleague Lee Dong Jin (Lee Seo Jin) while he goes on a blind date with a nice yet boring photographer, Yeom Hyo Bong (Jun Joon Young).

In the end, will Kang Joon Soo be able to appeal to Kim Hyun Woo? Will he be able to be with the woman he’s loved for most of his life?

As for the second movie in Round Three, it is GROW: Infinite’s Real Youth Life, featuring Kim Myung Soo, better known as L, and Lee Ho Won, better known as Hoya. It should be noted this K-movie is different from the others because it is actually a documentary.

The documentary features the aforementioned members of K-pop group Infinite four years after their debut. At that time, Infinite is sitting on top of the world, as they are extremely popular and at the height of their success. The documentary tracks them, along with the other members of Infinite, during their world tour across 11 countries and 17 major cities. Along the way, viewers get a surprising looking into each member’s hopes, dreams, fears, and feelings.

Take note that all six K-movies in DramaFever’s “Power of Three” contest are officially released. K-movie fans have until October 22, 2015, to watch the six listed K-movies and answer their one-question surveys, so for those who want a free trip to Korea, better start watching!
