Fans can watch the Florida Gators vs. Ole Miss Rebels football game live online and see who comes away on top in the battle of unbeaten teams.

The matchup between the Florida Gators and Ole Miss Rebels kicks off at 7 p.m. The game is being aired on ESPN, but those who aren’t able to get to a television will also be able to follow all the action live online via streaming video (links below).

Both teams have a 4-0 record and are 2-0 in conference play coming into Saturday’s contest, which could end up being pivotal to the postseason hopes of both squads.

“That should be a fun matchup,” Florida coach Jim McElwain said.

There will be some interesting battles in the game especially between Florida’s cornerbacks and Mississippi’s receivers, ESPN noted.

“Of particular interest is the duel between Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell and Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III. Both were among the nation’s most highly regarded recruits in 2013.”

“Now the juniors are college stars and potential NFL first-round picks in the spring.”

“Treadwell and Hargreaves played against each other during the Under Armour All-America game about three years ago. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound Treadwell — listed at three inches taller than Hargreaves — remembers a pretty even matchup.”

“He made a couple plays on me and I made a couple plays on him.”

But fans who watch the Florida vs. Mississippi football game live online will see an Ole Miss team with a much deeper — and taller — wide receiver corps than just Treadwell. Behind Tradwell they also have a group of big-bodied receivers who are all 6-foot-2 or more, including Cody Core, Quincy Adeboyejo, Markell Pack, Damore’ea Stringfellow, and tight end Evan Engram.

Florida is looking at the game as a chance to make a statement.

“This will be a good challenge for our secondary, who I think are pretty good,” McElwain said. “I’m sure they’re saying, ‘Look, here’s my chance to go up against the best.’ To me, that’s fun. That’s the challenge. So go accept it and see how you do.”

This will be the first meeting between the teams since the Rebels knocked off the Tim Tebow and the fourth-ranked Gators in 2008. As the Clarion Ledger noted, there have been plenty of upsets in the series, including the No. 24-ranked Rebels beating the No. 6 Gators in 2002. It has actually been 13 years since the higher-ranked team won when the two teams met.

The Florida Gators come into the game riding the momentum of an upset victory over Tennessee, a game that included a career-high 283 yards passing and two touchdowns from redshirt freshman Will Grier.

The performance led Jim McElwain to declare Grier the starter against Ole Miss, even though sophomore Treon Harris is back from a one-game suspension. But many think that McElwain will find a way to get both Harris and Grier involved.

But a stomach bug may be changing plans. There were reports on Friday that Grier had fallen ill and may miss Saturday’s game.

Whatever happens at quarterback, McElwain said the rest of the team would need to step it up.

“We’ve also got a lot of guys that need to pick up their level of play around him for us to be successful,” McElwain said (via ESPN). “So the quarterback, whatever, but we’ve got issues in some other areas that guys got to step up and start taking accountability for their actions during games and responsibility to play right and do right and help that guy, the quarterback, along.”
