Confirmed: Oksana Grigorieva, Mel Gibson’s Girlfriend Pregnant

It’s been confirmed by a reliable source and Gibson himself, the actor and his Russian girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, are expecting a child in the fall.

“He couldn’t be happier,” a friend of Gibson told People magazine. “He loves being a father.”

The friend also says that the pregnancy has nothing to do with Gibson’s wife recently filing for divorce and they didn’t even know Grigorieva was pregnant when the papers were filed.

Mel Gibson also confirmed the pregnancy himself during a taping of NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno that airs tonight. He’s quoted as saying:

“I guess I’m ‘Octo-Mel’”

Octo, meaning 8 kids, 7 with his soon to be ex wife and the 8th chile he’s expecting with his new girlfriend.
