Lisa Vanderpump Discusses Kim And Kyle Richards’ Reconciliation, ‘RHOBH’ Season 6

Lisa Vanderpump was out and about earlier this week, and during her latest red carpet appearance, she dished on the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which includes new wives Kathryn Edwards and Erika Jayne, and the current relationship between Kim and Kyle Richards.

On September 30, Lisa Vanderpump told Us Weekly that she had recently seen Kim, and that she was doing well and looking healthy. After spending Kim’s 51st birthday dinner with her and her sister Kyle at PUMP Lounge, Vanderpump claimed Kim achieved sobriety and told the magazine she was “committed to that.” Even after rumors began to swirl, claiming Kim appeared to be drunk during her visit to PUMP, Lisa Vanderpump spoke out in her defense, insisting she was in a health situation.

In April of this year, after years of sobriety, Kim suffered an alcohol relapse and was arrested at the Beverly Hills Hotel, a favorite spot of her and Kyle’s late mother. Months later, in early August, Kim was arrested for a second time and charged with petty theft for allegedly stealing over $600 worth of items from a Target store in Van Nuys, California. Still, despite her struggles, Kim’s family has remained by her side, and even though she and Kyle have been at odds in the past, they recently made amends, which came as great news to Lisa Vanderpump.

Speaking of the two women’s reunion, after months of turmoil, Lisa Vanderpump told Us Weekly, “I’m sure it’s a complex relationship, but they seemed happy. It was her birthday so that’s a really positive step in the right direction.”

In addition to celebrating her 51st birthday with Lisa Vanderpump and her sister Kyle, Kim spent the following evening with her older half-sister Kathy Hilton and her husband Rick. Days after that, Kim reunited with her former co-stars, Brandi Glanville and Yolanda Foster, for a birthday lunch date.

As for the upcoming sixth season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Lisa Vanderpump shot down the idea of there not being enough drama without Kim and Brandi Glanville on the show. Although Bravo hasn’t yet announced the news of Kim and Glanville’s exit, rumors have continued to swirl for months regarding the report, and Glanville has said she wasn’t asked to return full-time.

“There’s always stories,” Lisa Vanderpump explained to Us Weekly. “I think the most intriguing thing is always about the personal journey of each individual woman and how you come together and how you have differences of opinions and I think that always happens.”

Lisa Vanderpump continued on, explaining that while she and the other women, including Eileen Davidson, Lisa Rinna, and Yolanda Foster weren’t “pulling each other’s hair out,” there has “been some very intense kind of situations and moments.”

Lisa Vanderpump has been with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills since the show began, and is the only remaining full-time housewife, aside from Kyle Richards, from the original cast. If Kim would have returned to the show for Season 6, she would have been the third remaining original housewife.

For more of Lisa Vanderpump and the rest of the women, tune into The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6, when the series premieres later this year. A date has not yet been set for the season’s debut, and it is unclear whether or not Lisa Vanderpump knew the new wives prior to their addition to the show.
