Who Is ‘Ladies Of London’ Sophie Stanbury?

Season 2 of Ladies of London has just gotten started, but already, the new collective of ladies is far more interesting than the Season 1 crowd. But what do we know about the new additions on Ladies of London, and who is Sophie Stanbury?

The Inquisitr reported that Sophie Stanbury is the sister in law of Caroline Stanbury, the “queen bee” of Ladies of London. We know all about Caroline Stanbury, but as the season moves on, we will learn far more about that other Stanbury, Sophie, who is married to Caroline’s brother Alex Stanbury.

Sophie Stanbury might seem like Caroline’s mini-me, but she is a force of nature in her own right, according to Bustle. Sophie Stanbury is an interior decorator whose work is seen on Ladies of London in Caroline Stanbury’s office for the Gift Library. Before that, Sophie worked at one of the biggest hedge funds in the world, and prior to that, she worked at Annabel’s, a members-only club for London’s elite.

Reality Tea says that Sophie Stanbury will be seen this season as Caroline’s cohort, backing her up on every move. She called foul when Juliet Angus threw everyone out of her suite for the New Year’s Eve party.

“You Americans have no idea how to party. I’m gonna go hang out with the Brits!”

The drunken Caroline and Sophie, along with wannabe Brit Marissa Hermer, head up to Caroline’s suite for an after party with their assigned husbands.

When asked about Sophie Stanbury, Caroline volunteered some information about her sister in law to Yahoo Celebrity.

“Oh, can I just tell you something about Sophie?” Stanbury cooed, launching into a story about her sister-in-law’s bachelorette party. “She got so drunk, she stripped down naked… ran down the road naked, into all the stores that she goes to now, and woke up in the morning and basically said, ‘Oh my god. Now I realize why people travel for their hen night.'”

TV By the Numbers wrote a bio about Sophie Stanbury to give fans a bit of information before the season started.

“After finishing school at a traditional Convent in England, Sophie worked successfully at one of the world’s largest hedge funds before deciding to change direction to work at London’s forty plus year old exclusive members club, Annabel’s. It was during this time that she became firmly planted on the London social scene. Sophie has been long-time friends with Caroline Stanbury, who introduced her to her brother Alex, and the two are now married with beautiful boys, Harry and Finn. Today, she owns her own design company, whilst juggling motherhood and London’s limelight.”

The Inquisitr reported that in addition to Sophie Stanbury, Caroline Fleming is new to the cast. Fleming, a Baroness from an old family in Denmark, was also a host of Denmark’s Next Top Model. Fleming is the former wife of Rory Fleming, nephew of Ian Fleming, creator of the James Bond franchise.

Fleming’s first big appearance on Ladies of London was as the hostess for a big Danish Christmas dinner party. We will see more of Fleming and her trademark laugh (sounds like a honking goose) as the season continues.
