Star Wars 1313 To Debut at E3 2012

LucasArts announced today that the new Star Wars game, Star Wars 1313, would be officially unveiled at E3 2012.

But in order to keep interest piqued, the company has released a few photos of the concept art.

I4u reports that Star Wars 1313 will be a third-person adventure game.

Gamers will control a bounty hunter (not Boba Fett) as they explore the sub-surface of the planet Coruscant.

StarWars.com writes:

“Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a mortal, well-equipped hero who cannot rely on supernatural powers to survive his dangerous environment…. Using an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down marks, the player must also uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy in this third-person cinematic action adventure game. It’s a bold new take on the Star Wars galaxy, intended for mature audiences.”

The game will make its formal debut at the 2012 Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles, June 5-7th.

Lucasarts president Paul Meegan said:

“Star Wars 1313 dives into a part of the Star Wars mythos that we’ve always known existed, but never had a chance to visit. We are committed to bringing the best gameplay experience and visual fidelity to life and I truly believe the work we are showcasing at E3 will speak for itself.”

Here’s a preview of the new game.
