Kaley Cuoco Allegedly Ended Ryan Sweeting Marriage Because Of His ‘Addiction To Painkillers’ And ‘Refusal To Get Sober’ [Rumor]

Rumors about the reason for Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting’s divorce are continuing to swirl, with sources now coming out and insisting that the actress ended their 21-month marriage for a variety of reasons.

At this point, the rumors are just pure speculation, but each of them also makes it clear that Cuoco was the one who decided to culminate their time together as man and wife.

US Weekly sources via the Daily Mail have alleged Cuoco decided to divorce her husband because Ryan Sweeting is addicted to painkillers that he was prescribed after undergoing back surgery.

The insider alleged, “She supported him but she said he couldn’t make the commitment to get sober. He tells her he was working on it and instead go get wasted.” 28-year-old Sweeting underwent back surgery in 2014.

The publication went on to add that Cuoco has now “sworn off dating” because of the demise of her marriage, which she is completely “devastated” about.

It’s been reported that Sweeting, who at one time was ranked number 64 in the world in men’s pro tennis, has had a troubled past with pills. This included an incident in 2006 when he was arrested for driving under the influence while he was also found to be in possession of a drug, which police then declared he had the intent to sell.

After Cuoco and Sweeting exchanged vows on December 31, 2013, it has now been alleged that Sweeting “developed a dependency on painkillers” after he suffered a back injury just a few short months after he’d met The Big Bang Theory actress. This problem extended into 2015 too, after another injury caused him issues.

A source explained to UsWeekly via the Daily Mail, “Kaley told friends doctors prescribed something that he was taking too much of. That is when it went downhill again… She couldn’t fix him. He wasn’t the man she thought he was. She couldn’t take his ups and downs.”

The insider also explained that the pair got into furious fights, which would then see Sweeting “lash out at her.”

Meanwhile, The Hollywood Life has also divulged further reasons why Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting allegedly brought their marriage to an end. According to their sources, Ryan’s depressing attitude and the fact that he was “home all the time” were the deciding factors for Cuoco.

They explained, “Ryan was home all the time. He was dealing with an injury and would be kind of a party pooper and would really want people to feel bad for him. Kaley’s life on the other hand, is going pretty well right now and she is a fun loving person.”

However, the insider insisted that it wasn’t all bad between the pair, adding that the athlete and actress had some amazing times together. But, as the previous source for UsWeekly insisted, Sweeting’s demeanor changed rapidly after his injury, and he fell into a depressed slump.

“They had a lot of good times together,” the source continued. “But the change in his demeanor following his injury made him different from the person she fell in love with. She decided that it would be better to move on because things weren’t helping to change his attitude.”

Kaley Cuoco was the one to file their divorce papers. She stated that there were “irreconcilable differences” that led to their impending divorce. The pair announced their break-up on Friday, September 25, but they had been separated since September 3.

Hollywood Life’s insider stated, “It was a long time coming. She tried to make it work, but felt like she was the only one making an effort.”
