Kaley Cuoco Hates Old ‘Big Bang Theory’ Episodes – Fact That Credits Still Call Her Kaley Sweeting Means She Probably Hates New One Too

Kaley Cuoco has recently been having a rather tough time of it. Not only was her impending divorce from Ryan Sweeting announced just last week, but the credits for The Big Bang Theory have failed to change so that she’s listed as Kaley Cuoco again.

Cuoco has also admitted that she genuinely cringes when she comes across old episodes of The Big Bang Theory, which is shown on CBS.

Speaking of how uncomfortable watching these instalments makes her feel, Cuoco explained in a recent interview, via Yahoo, “I do stop and watch because I’m appalled by what I’m seeing. I’m like, ‘Kaley, what is that choice?’ I usually put it on mute because I cannot stand the sound of my voice, especially early on. But (I look to) kind of see what I was wearing, and it’s hilarious.”

After being asked about what she thinks of her acting since the early episodes of The Big Bang Theory, Cuoco added, “I look back on season one or two and I’m like, ‘How did I get hired? Like, what was I doing? What was that tone in my voice?’ I talked up here. Thank god they saw through that.”

However, Cuoco explained that she has been able to improve upon her performances, and she believes that she has now settled fully into her role as Penny, the waitress who instantly claims the heart of her neighbor Leonard Hofstadter.

“Over the years I’ve totally settled and gotten that much cooler and better but it’s funny, I look back on a lot of shows and you look back to season one and those season ones aren’t so good,” Cuoco admitted.

She then added, ” You’re like, ‘Oh my god, this was horrible,’ because now it’s so good. Like it’s just such a difference. At the time it was great… I can’t believe I got hired, let’s put it that way. It was not good.”

Meanwhile, US Magazine have reported that during the airing of Monday night’s new episode of The Big Bang Theory, “The Separation Oscillation,” the credits for the show still listed Kaley Cuoco under her married name, Kaley Sweeting.

The episode itself also covered some pretty familiar ground for Cuoco, as her character and her new husband found themselves in a ferocious argument. In fact, ever since the characters actually exchanged vows in the Season 9 premiere of the show, they have been repeatedly arguing.

This is because, just before they married, Leonard admitted to Penny that he’d previously cheated on her with his co-worker, Mandy. Penny still agreed to marry Leonard, but she has been furious with her beau and has been giving him the silent treatment.

Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting confirmed their separation on September 25, 2015, announcing that they were looking to get a divorce. The pair originally became engaged in September, 2013, after just three months of dating. They eventually married on December 31, 2013, in Santa Susana, California. But then after just 21 months of marriage they eventually called quits on Friday.

A representative for Cuoco told E! News, “Kaley Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting have mutually decided to end their marriage. They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter.”

According to US Magazine, 29-year-old Cuoco listed the date of her separation from Ryan Sweeting as September 3, while citing irreconcilable differences.

Since then Kaley Cuoco has taken to Instagram to prove that she hasn’t let the demise of her marriage from ruining her social life, as on Friday she was pictured out and about in Los Angeles. Then, on Monday, she shared pictures of herself having an “amazing time” at the Bryan Brothers’ Tennis Festival. The charity fundraiser is believed to have raised over $90,000.
