The Real Housewives of Atlanta wives are back, and it sounds like this season of the show will be an interesting one. Of course, many of the wives have shared updates via social media, including Kenya Moore’s new home, Kandi Burruss’ baby announcement, and Porsha Williams’ new relationship, but other relationships have been kept low profile.

Of course, there are some serious issues that will be brought to light on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The previous season left fans wanting more, because so many doors were left open. This includes Phaedra Parks’ new life as a single mother, as Apollo Nida turned himself in to serve around eight years behind bars. Luckily, Bravo is now carrying on the stories of the Real Housewives’ women.

According to a new Bravo report, The Real Housewives of Atlanta trailer reveals that there are some serious issues happening. And fans will be thrilled to see some familiar faces once again, even if NeNe Leakes isn’t one of them. But one of the more interesting storylines has to do with Cynthia Bailey and her husband, Peter Thomas.

Earlier this year, Peter was caught in an Instagram video getting really close to another woman. In the press, Cynthia Bailey told her fans that their marriage was strong and that she could easily handle everything. But the trailer for The Real Housewives of Atlanta shows her falling apart. Clearly, the video did more damage than expected.

Another exciting story is the return of Sheree Whitfield — and the drama surrounding Chateau Sheree. When she was filming The Real Housewives of Atlanta a few years ago, Sheree was building her new home. But she ran into some financial issues and had some builder troubles, as she didn’t get what she wanted out of her team. After Whitfield left The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she got some progress made on the home. But for years, it has been a half-built mansion. Now, fans finally get some progress on the mansion.

As for Porsha Williams, she is ready to start dating again. After her shocking divorce on her first season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she is moving on. Fans will see her date and talk about pregnancy, but she recently announced that she had ended her relationship with Buffalo Bills player Duke Williams. The distance between them was simply too much. But there is another Real Housewives wife who is getting her feet wet with dating.

Phaedra Parks has been through the ringer on the previous season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but she is starting to date again. Her husband, Apollo Nida, was locked up almost a year ago, and he is expected to serve at least another 7 years. And it sounds like Phaedra will have to answer some questions, as she is keeping her children away from Nida.

But the biggest storyline has to do with Peter Thomas’ supposed cheating on Cynthia Bailey. Of course, when the story first came out earlier this year, The Real Housewives of Atlanta fans were shocked. Why would he get cozy with another woman? And of course, according to Radar Online, Peter was quick to address the issues.

“There’s stuff all over the Instagram that made me look like a big ass cheater. Ok, that’s not what it is. That’s a friend of mine in the club that I was talking to. It looks crazy, I know it does, so I’m apologizing to my wife, I’m apologizing to my two beautiful daughters, ok. Your daddy’s not a cheater,” this Real Housewives of Atlanta husband revealed at the time.
