Sones Rejoice! Yoona Of K-Pop Mega Group ‘Girls’ Generation’ Is The Final Member To Join Instagram

For those who follow So Nyeo Shi Dae (SNSD), better known as Girls’ Generation, they can tell you the K-pop mega group is having a phenomenal 2015 thus far when it comes to their professional careers. Unfortunately, their love lives are kind of a different story. As a matter of fact, it is quite heartbreaking given the fact three of the girls have ended their relationship with their significant others within a span of six months. Out of the three, however, the one that Sones (devoted fans of Girls’ Generation) are most sad about is Yoona and Lee Seung Gi breaking up, in which they believe the latter’s upcoming military service is the reason for the split.

Whether Lee Seung Gi’s upcoming military service is the reason for the split or not, it is safe to say that by ending their relationship, both Seung Gi and Yoona can concentrate on their careers. With that in mind, Yoona has finally created an Instagram for her fans. Actually, she is technically the last member of Girls’ Generation to join it.

The breaking social news broke on KpopStarz in which Yoona officially opened an Instagram account on Sunday, September 27, 2015. The first picture she posted up was her doing the victory sign along with numerous fans in the background. Said fans had their faces faded out given the fact South Korea is big with privacy.

Yoona’s first post on her official Instagram is her doing the victory/peace sign with numerous fans in the background. The faces of said fans are blurred out because Koreans are very big on privacy.

Apparently, Sones were extremely happy Yoona finally joined Instagram as shown by her first post receiving over 200,000 likes within 10 hours after it went up. As for her account, it accumulated over half a million followers. As for who she follows, it is the other seven members of Girls’ Generation of course.

Girls’ Generation initially started to have its members open Instagram accounts late last year. This was of course a necessary move since Instagram has become a very popular social media site for artists of all kinds, including but not limited to musicians. And just so its known, other K-pop idols did just what Girls’ Generation did such as K-pop group Sistar. All four members have their own individual accounts as well as a main account for the group as a whole after the four individual accounts were established. Girls’ Generation may follow with the same plan too by opening a main account for the K-pop group as a whole.
