WWE Rumors: Early Rumored Matches For ‘Hell In A Cell’

We are just under one month away as on October 25, Hell in a Cell will emanate live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. The event will likely see the end of certain feuds and will prolong several other rivalries as the company gets closer to Survivor Series.

At the moment, the only confirmed bout for the show is The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell. This match will likely mark the end of this generally lopsided feud and will allow both characters to go in different directions.

However, The Wrestling Observer Newsletter (via LordsofPain) has revealed all of the matches that are currently scheduled to take place next month.

    • Tables Match for the WWE Tag Team Championships: The Dudley Boyz vs. The New Day (c)
    • WWE Divas Championship: Paige vs. Nikki Bella vs. Charlotte (c)
    • Intercontinental Championship: Ryback vs. Kevin Owens (c)
    • The Wyatt Family vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, and Randy Orton
    • John Cena defends his United States championship
    • WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Kane vs. Seth Rollins (c).
    • Hell In A Cell: Brock Lesnar w/Paul Heyman vs. The Undertaker

Certainly, this rumored card would make sense considering all of the storylines that are currently taking place on television. First, The Dudley Boyz have been putting The New Day, specifically, Xavier Woods through tables since their return the night after SummerSlam. Whether it be on television or live events, The New Day continue to taste the wood while trying to “Save The Tables!”

Coming off her victory at Night of Champions, Charlotte made her legendary father Ric Flair proud but angered her PCB teammate Paige — who vented her frustrations this week on Monday Night RAW. With Nikki Bella promised a rematch, pitting all three against each other in the same match makes sense.

Kevin Owens was able to upset Ryback at Night of Champions, winning his first championship as a part of the main roster in WWE. Always hungry, Ryback will look to feast on Owens’ gold and reclaim his title.

A returning Chris Jericho couldn’t help Reigns and Ambrose fend off the Wyatt Family, so “The Viper” appears to be next in line to help them. Orton assisted them in fighting off Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Braun Strowman on RAW but will need their all to defeat the Wyatts.

At the time, newly crowned WWE United States champion John Cena does not have an adversary after beating Seth Rollins in a rematch on RAW. The Inquisitr reported earlier today that Cena will likely bring back his United States Open Challenge tomorrow night and there is speculation that Sheamus will face him at Hell in a Cell.

Returning at Night of Champions, Kane sent a message that he is coming for Rollins. Seemingly confused by playing two different characters, “The Demon” Kane has made Rollins’ life a living hell and will likely try to finish the job next month. As for Rollins, he will try to keep his championship reign going.

Finally, as part of Lesnar’s “Go To Hell” tour, he will face the Deadman one last time to see who the better man is. This will be a fight that will see one man take the other to hell with them.
