Astrologers Predict Presidential Contest Winner

An international conference of astrologers met this week to discuss the stars and the future and if you talk to all of them they will tell you something they all believe…President Barack Obama is going to win reelection in November according to the Huffington Post.

Reuters interviewed five separate astrologers on the presidential panel and they explained how they came to their assessments, with most relying on studies of celestial charts pertinent to both Obama and presumed Republican nominee Mitt Romney for the date of either the election itself or the next presidential inauguration.

Chicago astrologist and corporate lawyer Nina Gryphon mad an in-depth study of the Aries ingress. That is the study of the exact time when the Sun enters the constellation Aries.

After reviewing the charts she said,

“It’s obvious. Obama stays where he is without a change in status.”

Astrology shouldn’t be confused with Astronomy. Astronomy is the scientific study of outer space. Astronomy is the study of the positions of stars and other heavenly objects and using them to predict human behavior and events.

Denver astrologer Chris Brennan told Reuters that he studied charts related to both candidates and then he said,

“Obama’s peak period stays consistent throughout the election, whereas Romney’s seems to falter a few weeks before the election,”

There were several astrologers who, whole still predicting an Obama win said the President will face significant trouble in his second term.

Brennan said,

“The ingress of Saturn into Scorpio may trouble him. It won’t cost him the election, but it may indicate difficulties in the first half of his second term.”

Brennan also said there was a likelihood of the presidential election of 2000 being revisited.

He said,

“We should all be aware of the Mercury retrograde that will occur on election day. Most astrologers are pretty certain that this could cause problems similar to what happened in the 2000 election,” Brennan said, referring to the contested Florida vote that was settled only when the Supreme Court ruled that George W. Bush should be president rather than Al Gore.
