Taylor Swift And Calvin Harris Posing For Joint Ad Soon? Sam Smith Likens Duo To Beckhams
Sam Smith recently expressed his admiration for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris. The 23-year-old crooner believes that the couple has the potential to become the new Beckhams because of the chemistry that they exhibit.
“[Her and Calvin] look sweet. His body is amazing right now isn’t it? They need to do a joint [advert] like David and Victoria. Are they the new Beckhams? They are!”
The “I’m Not The Only One” singer likewise praised Taylor in an interview with Heat magazine.
“I don’t see Taylor a lot. I think I’ve met her a grand total of five times, but she’s been amazing every time. She’s lovely.”
Taylor and Calvin started dating in March, but only made their romance public last May during the Billboard Music Awards 2015 in Las Vegas. While their relationship is fairly new, Forbes magazine’s highest-paid celebrity couple is already discussing marriage plans, as per OK! Magazine.
According to the magazine’s insider, the “Wildest Dreams” songstress nonchalantly asked her beau if he would consider marrying her. Calvin reportedly didn’t freak out and said that he’d ask the approval of Taylor’s dad.
Regardless of how publicized the couple’s romance is, Calvin remains loyal to his lady love. In a previous interview with Kiss FM UK, the DJ talked about the issues being hurled against them.
“It’s going absolutely fantastic. It’s interesting because obviously there’s different things written about it every day and even if we don’t do anything publicly for a while, someone will make something up. For me it could be a lot worse and I’d still be like insanely happy with her so I’m good with it.”
If wedding bells will, indeed, ring soon for Taylor and Calvin, the pop star’s maid of honor won’t come from her “girl squad,” which includes several celebrities like Karlie Kloss, Selena Gomez, and Gigi Hadid. As per Hollywood Life, the “Bad Blood” hit maker would “want her mom to be her maid of honor when the time comes for her to get married.”
“Nothing would make Taylor happier than marrying the man she loves in front of family and friends and her mom completely cured of cancer to fully enjoy that moment,” added the source.
In April, Taylor revealed that her mom Andrea was diagnosed with cancer. The “Style” hit maker kept the specifics of her mom’s condition, but wrote a heartfelt note on her Tumblr account.
